Stopped working after a few weeks and it wasn’t the batteries.

DO NOT BUY this is my SECOND one i have purchased and it’s already quit working after two months I thought it was maybe the batteries but nope it just won’t work. Just trash

We really like having the media remote to control our PS5 since it is the main way we watch streaming services. The battery lasts a while although once in a while it seems to need to be reset by taking the batteries out and putting them back in. The first one we had took years of beatings from my toddler before it finally gave up. So I give it a solid 5 star rating for that.

Worked well, but after 2 months stopped turning on, it’s incredibly frustrating because it still works on volume for my tv but won’t connect to my ps5. Just found out my non-smart tv works with my ps5 just like that remote used to. comepletely useless product

The remote was great until the batteries died in less than 2 weeks of use. This will use a lot of batteries if you’re replacing AAs every 2 weeks. I would return it if I still had the box.

I love how, fast it recognized my tv, and I’m glad it functions the way it’s supposed to. I don’t like the shape personally, it’s slips out of my hand easily. I seen the reviews about the remote stopping to work after a few weeks. I’m guessing they just need to change the batteries. So far so good.

Worked for like one week. Then it would only work if you took the batteries out and put them back in. A week later and it doesn't work at all.

We’ve purchased two of these remotes and were recently gifted a third. Each time it works for a couple of weeks/months and then stops functioning.

When I purchased mine, it looked like it was used, and it would not power on or connect at all

I don’t understand how Sony continues to make inferior remotes for their consoles. We went through 2 remotes for our ps4 before giving up. I had high hopes that this one might actually work. After about a week it stopped controlling the tv and then started only occasionally controlling the ps5 console. Worst design ever. Save yourself money and frustration don’t buy this.

After less than one month, this inferior remote required multiple instances of percussive recalibration in order to access the PlayStation and TV to which it was linked. Shy of the instances of percussive recalibration, it did not function. At all. I had to smack the remote against my hand or remove the back casing and spin the batteries in order to get it to function so that I could control the media. Overall abysmal performance. Don't bother wasting your money or spending the effort of frustration on operating this device. Just use a normal PlayStation controller. It's not worth the Battle of Wills to have the media remote not function properly for you.

It was the best thing ever then stopped working 2 weeks after purchase, literally don’t waste your money. Cant believe they’re still selling these faulty remotes - so many other reviewers experienced the same thing.

Died on me after 10 months. Huge disappointment because it was great.

It’s great while it works but it doesn’t work long. We just purchased our 3rd one. Each one last about 6 months before it stops working or breaks.

You'll constantly have to take out the batteries and put them back to reconnect to the playstation and/or TV.

My remote stopped working today. Checked my account to see if I still had time to return it and I don’t. I am just very disappointed considering the money I’ve spent on this and have gotten exactly one month of use out of it before it completely died.

So far, I don’t have any complaints on this remote. It’s small and sleek and is working as design. No issue at this time.
