    The all-new Galaxy SmartTag2 is your ultimate tool for keeping track of the things that matter most¹.

    ¹Requires Samsung Galaxy smartphones or tablets running Android 11.0 or later with 3GB or more of free RAM; user must opt-in to the SmartThings Find App and be logged in to Samsung Account. Bluetooth range of up to 120m without obstacles; if Galaxy SmartTag2 is out of range, Find Network will be used to track (Find Network accuracy based on opt-in Galaxy users who are in-range of the SmartTag). ²Consistent with IP67 rating, water resistant in up to 1M (3 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes. Rinse residue / dry after wet. ³Through the SmartThings app, allows 2 pre-set conditions at a time. A pre-set condition can be either an IoT device or a SmartThings routine. ⁴Expected performance based on typical use with in-box CR2032 battery. Actual battery life may vary depending on different usage patterns, environmental conditions, the replacement battery manufacturer, and other factors. ⁵Non-Power Saving Mode expected battery life under typical usage conditions is up to 500 days. Power Saving Mode is limited to basic Bluetooth finding functions (for example, Search Nearby signal indicator and map). ⁶Requires Bluetooth, range up to 120m without obstacles; accuracy may be reduced if there's an obstacle between you and the tag, such as when the tag is inside a drawer, behind a wall, or in a car. Samsung account log-in and registration on SmartThings Find App is required. ⁷Only available with ultra-wideband (UWB) enabled Galaxy smartphones running Android 11.0 or higher (Galaxy Note20 Ultra, S21+ and Ultra, S22+ and Ultra, S23+ and Ultra, Z Fold2 and up).       This tracker works great. We have at home both Apple and Samsung cellphones, so for my wife's Samsung phone I got this tracker for use with our luggage while traveling. It works great and it was easy to set it up using the SmartThings app in her phone. Description mentioned that the tracker did not come with a needed battery, so I ordered extra ones, and when it arrived it came with a battery already pre-installed. Anyway it is good to have extra batteries available. Just remove the battery tab to provide power to the tracker and you are ready to activate it and set it up in the app. One more comment; for the best experience using trackers, if you want efficient tracking stick to using Samsung trackers with your Samsung phone and Apple AirTag trackers with your iPhones.

      I love the idea of this and so happy they finally made one specifically for Samsung devices. I purchased it because I have an Autistic 3 year old. I pin it inside one of his pockets and it does give me a sense of added safety should he wander away. The only downfall is its not in real time and takes a very long time for it to refresh. This making the location not very accurate. I hope in future upgrades it made to track in real time. Other than that the value for the money for the added safety is amazing.

      SAMSUNG SMARTTAG2 - received Mar 23, 2025. The description says no battery included, but, it came with the battery inside. There is also a blue ribbon you have to pull so the battery will work. I did this , then went on the Smart Things app and registered my device. I also have the original Smart Tag which was already in my app as registered. So when I opened the app it automatically recognized my new SmartTag2 device, registered it and then I had to say yes to upload an upgrade to software. Once that was done, I renamed my SmartTag2 device. All working great! Easy registering. It also came with "pin" so I can remove the battery. I also purchased the silicone cover fits perfectly. I love the SmartTag2 . Would order again . Perfect!

      Seems like it should work with all Samsung phones, but it appears your carrier has as much to do with the functionality. Tried to set it up with Samsung Galaxy phone and would not load into the Trac Phone System. Loved the concept but it simply did not work...we were bummed!

      Para los que tienen duda como funciona, el dispositivo funciona similar a un GPS pero con la limitacion que depende de que halla cerca de el dispositivos samsung como celulares o tabletas contectados a la red celular o una wifi.
      De otra forma el dispositivo jamas podra ser encontrado.
      En Mexico el mercado de samsung no es tan grande como en estados unidos asi que se debe considerar que el dispositivo no se pueda rastrear de forma consistente.
      En el par de ocasiones que lo he rastreado solo se ubica en ciertos lugares.
