Oh my goodness. I have never received such awesome, or quick, customer service before. I called Stanley because the position of the straw and sip hole in relation to the handle was a problem for my injured right hand. I was a bit disappointed when I was presented with the option to press a key for a call back. The call back came immediately. I wish I could have gotten the name of the person who called me because she is amazing. I didn’t do the best job of explaining the problem but she understood immediately and explained what I needed to do so clearly I could solve my problem with no problem at all.For all the other “lefties” out there there’s no need to request a left-hand threaded lid. Just position the “hole” where you want it to end up and twist. Easy-peasy.I have more good things to say, too. This cup keeps the ice in an iced drink frozen longer than the ice in the “other brand” 40 oz cup I purchased from my husband (because it had a romantic saying on it) and it’s lighter, too. Also, said husband accidentally knocked my cup, containing water, off the counter. It landed upside down and did not leak.It doesn’t fit in a standard cup holder but an adapter was easy to find.

    I purchased what my students refer to as the “Baby Stanley” and I use it primarily for my on the go coffee. This is the 14oz, which is smaller than most 16 oz travel mugs, but I love it because I only ever use the middle size setting on my Keurig, so the amount of liquid it holds is equivalent to a standard mug or small to-go cup.     Having finally given into the Stanley craze, I find Stanley Cups are solidly made, fit into the cup holders of my car, keeps the water cold, with ice still there after a few hours. The opening is fairly easy to use, and it is leak proof. The color I chose, Matcha Cream, is gorgeous, darker than mint green but still whimsical. The handle of the Stanley is great for ease of use, especially for my mom, who is in her 70’s; the handle gives her more security. I chose the 40 oz, which is a bit heavy for my mom to lift for the whole day. I will get her a smaller size next time. For me, the 40 oz is a good size.
