After trying out a L'Occitane gift set, I was really impressed with the hand cream. Then I went and purchased this 3-pack of hand creams. I'm not in love with the scents, but I like them. But I didn't buy these for the scents - I bought them because as they make my hands feel incredibly soft and within a few moments the cream is totally absorbed. They're also just the right size to carry in my pocket. This was a splurge for me, but I really think it was worth it.

    What makes these lovely and little? They are a smooth, silky lotion with a pleasing aroma suitable for your purse or tote bag.

    Two are fragrances: lavender and almond although the third does have a scent, barely detectable but there. One has a flip-cap; two are screwcaps—no spillage from these.

    Then why four stars not five? It’s the fragrance, a little too strong, even after I wash my hands. The aroma was very obvious over four hours later. I suppose that means the lotion doesn’t easily wash off—which could be another problem.

    The maker is one of the better brands, near-adjacent to organic (clean ingredients). When you want a lingering scent, pick these.
