El Tesoro extra anejo is aged in ex-bourbon barrels for a minimum of four years. The result is a vibrant gold tequila with aromas of cinnamon, butter and caramel. There's coffee, dark chocolate, dry fruits and roasted almonds on the palate, with hints of pepper and oak on the finish.

Truly Excellent. Makes A Great Gift.

To me, this is the jewel of the El Tesoro line. It's smooth and balanced with a flavor profile that includes agave, brown sugar, caramel, and cinnamon, culminating in a creamy, dark chocolate finish. Packaged in a fancy box, it's also my go-to gifting tequila. Just sent a bottle to my niece and her husband for Christmas and look forward to sharing it with them.
