My story on how I ended up purchasing a waffle maker. My son was taken by his Father to have breakfast at a Waffle House when they were on their own on a Saturday I had to work. Since then our son begged to be taken to the Waffle House every weekend! Finally, I asked what he liked so much about that place. He said, "the waffles". Then I found myself ordering on line...I am not a pancake or waffle eating person. lol.... But the instructions were clear and simple to follow. The waffle turned out perfect! I used the Aunt Jemima recipe on the box.... Our son said, "I never want to go back to the Waffle House! These are perfect!". Did I mention his is 5 1/2 yrs old! I am very pleased and have a very happy little boy at home.

Awesome Waffle Maker

overall this is a decent waffle maker for the money. i was a little disappointed with the plastic handle and casing, it just seems cheap compared to the iron itself. the mechanism that holds the waffle iron in the upright position does not seem like it will last long. i love the upright storage feature though. we have very limited space in our kitchen and being able to store it vertically rather than horizontal was a deciding feature for this purchase. the actual waffles were wonderful! they had a nice crispy outside and were soft and yummy inside, almost like the inside of a doughnut. the timing feature is great. it lets you know when to flip it and when its done. no brainer cooking and no burning! cleaning may be a challenge since it is not immersible. the batter measurement takes practice and it oozes out onto the sides if you dont get it right and then bakes on... we are enjoying it despite the negatives and i think we have said goodbye to pancakes forever!

Flip waffle maker

This is the model that you see at all the cheap hotels; at the free breakfast bar.  We figured that if it lasts at the cheap hotels it would last at home.
We are very happy with the flip design.  It makes perfect waffles every time.

Great Waffle maker - easy to use

Love how it stores upright to take up way less space. The flip feature is great to ensure both sides get evenly crisped. The whole waffle pops out and leaves nothing behind, so cleanup is pretty much nonexistent. I use Kodiak cakes mix for reference and add an egg for extra protein. Just peep that waffle game though! Thanks Presto Flipside! Never going out for brunch again. I call these WOWffles.

Super Easy, Super Fast, Super Clean

I love that it stands for easy storage, I have used it at least 10 times now and none of my waffles have stuck so its definitely nonstick. I have tried 3 different waffle recipes. Only thing Ive noticed is one side always gets a nice golden brown compared to the other.

Would definitely recommend

The waffles are surprisingly bigger than the last two brands I've had- which is great for a full breakfast. I make waffles 3-4 days a week and it holds up to my batter experiments with gluten free flours without sticking.

I love presto products. I was so impressed by their deep fryer I had to get the waffle maker. It did not disappoint. Its a great price, great quality and truly non stick for easy cleaning. Once you're finished you can stand it up for easy storing. And the waffles were delicious!

Presto is the best!

I made about 10 waffles on my first day, it take a while to get use to machine . this machine is cheap and work like a charm it nothing fancy but it does do a basic waffle.
