The little parts that were left I used with a blow dryer and it came right off within seconds. I would suggest using the blow dryer on it first and then removing the whole label/sticker, the only reason I didn't do that initially was because it didn't look like it was stuck on there so tight. The lid is a normal fit not too tight not too loose. The bowl is a little bit bigger than what I would have liked but it will work.

Can't always find Pyrex so I appreciate that Amazon sells several varieties.
