I love this line of Cuisinart pans. They're sturdy and built well. The handle doesn't get hot when on the stove, although the lid handle will get hot. I have the same pan in a few sizes. After a couple of years I haven't seen much pitting at all, but I do hand wash mine.

I thought this was a sturdy pan, not too lightweight. I was a bit bummed when it burned a bit vf too easily. I thought that was an indication that usually the bottom of the pan is a little too thin. It could also be my new inductions stovetop gets too hot. I was able to use water with a bit of corn starch as a paste inside the burned area to soak it for a couple days and then use a brillo pad to completely remove all of the burned food material with a metal flathead spatula. Now I'm using it again.
