I love, love this pressure cooker. I can't say enough about the ease of opening and closing with one twist. The gasket is attached to a shield which does not come loose, but is easy to remove and clean. Most importantly is the safety steam release. All by pushing a button. No risk of a steam burn. I was unsure about the non stick pot, I have only used stainless steel before. But I must say I like the non stick better. It seems very durable and is super easy to clean. Large lit menu, I can actually read. The cord is detachable. I don't even reach for my instant pots anymore. I just wish they made this model in 8 quart size. I would buy it also. A winner. You won't regret this purchase.

Ok first off, I Love, Love, Love this Cooker! I will agree with some of the other posters that the manual is the best there is, and it is a little confusing learning how the controls work, but nothing too difficult to get especially when the Internet is your friend.

In all this is a wonderful kitchen tool and I don't know why I held off so many years in buying one. It is amazing. It is only my mother and my self to cook for but I truly wish I had had this multicooker when I had kids at home and was working.

The Cuisinart CPC-900 6-Quart High Multicooker Pressure Cooker, Stainless Steel is an excellent tool and is really versatile. We love everything we have cooked in it and are often looking up recipes to try in it!

You really can't go wrong with purchasing one! Good luck, hope this helps! :)

I have had 4 electric pressure cooker so far. I usually have them until they no longer work. The last one was an InstaPot. I didn't like it. I had to change it before it broke because food kept getting stuck to it. I found this one, and I had a previous good experience with cusinart. I was hesitant because of some of the reviews, but after using it for two weeks, I can say I love it. It is easy to use, to clean, and to store. Excellent product.

My old pressure cooker was the best until it went to the great cooker in the sky. The thing I liked about my old pal was so easy to use. The Cuisinart looks pretty but not so easy to use. My previous one, cover, make a selection and start. The Cuisinart is not so easy and you have to think too much just to get it going, even the pressure release is whhhat, where is the release, turn the knob to find the release, then press knob to activate and small prayer to ensure the release is active. But it is pretty.
