We like this fire pit and look forward to using it more. It had held up well to both fire and the elements, maintaining its color without rust (so far). The openings along the sides allow heat to radiate outwardly and allows you to warm up faster.

Fire pit

After reading many (and I mean MANY) reviews, I decided to buy this one for our family. It's very sturdy and seems very well built. LOVE the fact that it has the grate included. My boys are looking forward to grilling hotdogs and making smokes!

As a side note… we took the advice of multiple other reviewers and purchased some Rust-Oleum High Heat spray paint and coated the entire fire pit before using it. From our research (and other reviewers), the Rust-Oleum will help extend the life of the fire pits. In addition, we bought sand to line the bottom of the pit with during use.

Best fire pit choice

My friends have this fire pit and it is their second one.  I purchased for my back yard and the first night we had it the neighbors came over for S'MORES.  Great time.  Paid for itself in one night.

Gathering by the Fire....Pit that is!

I bought this as it was recommended by wirecutter and Walmart had the best price. If you're looking for a sub $100 firepit then you can't go wrong with this. I spray it with heatproof paint before assembling, and drilled 3 small holes in the bottom to drain any water if left outside.
Assembly was easy with a wrench and screwdriver, took 5-10 minutes and needed no help. 
Have fired it up twice and it's big enough to hold a decent fire. Felt very study and comes with a grill top, which I probably won't use but nice touch. It has a sturdy cover too, for protecting against floating embers.
Not much else you can say about a metal firepit. I'd recomment sprating a coat of rust resistant heat paint and adding the drain holes though. Mines staying inside the garage when not in use, so not expecting rust issues. Would be surprised if I couldn't get 10 years of regular use, if maintained.

This Firepit is a great size. It was easy to put together - I put sand over the bottom of the pit pan as recommended and had a lovely fire that night! The price on this pit is excellent too. The pit looks beautiful being able to see the fire from all around. You don't need a $500 pit for your backyard!; this is the one. And comes with a grilling screen too.

The BEST Firepit!

Gifted this item to my wife for her birthday and just used it to make s'more. It was fairly easy to construct with the only issue being the rails and instructions on how to put the clips on for the grill.  Followed the instruction of putting sand in it and easily started a fire in it on our backyard. Very light weight for its size and easy to move around. Feels sturdy and ruff where it needs to be. We did a small fire so didn't feel the heat escape from the sides at all. Definitely going to enjoy this for hopefully a long time.

Excellent  Firepit for the home!

My only complaint is the fit of the outsude rail. The factory did not place the holes along the body in the exact correct location,so the rails are difficult to install and provide a sloppy fit. I was impressed by the overall size of the pit.

The coating is already peeling after two uses and started to rust. Disapointing
