How to Care for your Copper Cookware

  • Before first use, clean with soap and water; dry thoroughly.
  • Copper cleans very easily. After use, fill the cookware with water and dish soap; let it soak for about fifteen minutes. Use only non-abrasive products and sponges when you clean.
  • When cooking, use a low flame. Do not pre-heat or heat empty; do not use this cookware to sear.
  • When baking, do not heat above 450 degrees.
  • The exterior of your cookware may darken with prolonged use; you can clean it with copper polish.
