Good for the price
It took a few fires to get the hang of it. Start a small fire in the back to get the draft going and add wood slowly. Read the instructions. I am just starting out and I'm learning to use this in the back yard to see if I like the hot tent. I like it so far.

5.0 out of 5 stars In short, MEH!
Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2023
The price is less than what I paid for it originally, the quality is decent, set up and take down is good. The pipes themselves have to be tapped on the ground to get them apart but they do come apart just turn and tap then try to twist (always works). Ventilation, this stove has to have the door open to burn, unless you make bigger holes there’s no way around it. Does it get the job done? Yes but you should have adequate ventilation. It’s perfect for a hot tent but other than that no. I wouldn’t use this for any weather under 40° unless you want to have someone constantly guarding the fire. It’s compact, easy to use, easy to assemble, the pipe is the only part that takes effort in take down and it’s easy to clean out. Spend the extra money if you want a 4 season stove. Good deal for the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Be aware.. this is SMALL!!
Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2020
Overall, this is well built and the materials are thick. The chimney pipes are a nice steel and seem like they would last a while. My biggest issue... this thing is small!! I knew it would be small and its meant to be small... but I didn’t expect it to be THAT small - the entire stove comes in a bag that holds everything and that bag can fit into a 5 gallon bucket. At its lowest height with legs attached is less than 17” - the door is nice but very small making it difficult to stack logs and get this thing started. It runs well but when you close the door damper anymore than half way, the fire goes out. Overall... this would probably be nice for a very small area 8x8 max and that may be too big. I liked it but after 1 burn... i had to return it. Just too small for my liking but it is well built. Just understand what you are buying (I thought I did but I underestimated the actual size. I am going to look into a larger one from the “chef’s.”

The racks leave more to be desired. They are 4.5” wide and only about 14” long. Not really drying racks that would be super useful.

I wanted to like this and I gave it a shot but it’s just not for me. I can see using this for a small tent or ice fishing shack.

Here are some dimensions from the manufacturer website:

Dimensions: 17-1/4 inches long, 9-4/5 inches wide (19-1/3 inches with grates) and 16-1/2 inches tall (23 inches with legs extended)
Can use wood up to 16-1/2 inches long and 4 inches in diameter
Door opening is 5-3/4 inches x 4-1/2 inches
Easy setup and only takes a few minutes
Firebox measures 16-3/4 inches long, 9 inches wide and 7-1/2 inches tall

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great, compact, awesome price!
Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2023
Let me start off by saying, I'm new to the camp stove game, but I'm really enjoying this little stove. I haven had any issues with air flow or smoke when burning in this stove. I have burned pine but I mostly use birch wood. Thoses things really get going in this little stove. It is true that the 6 feet of flute segments can become stuck (really stuck) after burning due to build up. This is easily fixed by spraying (when cool) the connections with a tiny bit of WD-40 foam, allow it 1min to loosen the grime between the male/female connection. Then twist lose. Clean with paper towel......BAM!, your ready for your next outing. I'm surprised no one has tried this method yet....it works! Also I use a bubble level to tilt the firebox ever so slightly downward (extendable legs help here) in the front to assist in pulling the smoke away from the door. The air flow does the work, sucking from front (door) to the (flute) in the back.
The legs also connect to the firebox via threads that are exposed to ash and heat so tapping those also with WD-40 goes a long way keeping them from getting stuck as well. I hope this helps someone out there because this really is an awesome stove when kept in good condition.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not quite good enough.
Reviewed in Canada on January 13, 2023
I have used this stove several times while winter camping. The biggest problems are backflow of smoke due to the small diameter chimney pipe, and a really short burn time (maybe 2 hours) even with the flue closed. Get something a little bigger and you wont regret it. Fine for one person burning twigs in the fall, but not good for true winter conditions. If you have a tent bigger than a 2 man, this is not the stove for you.

3.0 out of 5 stars The Stove Pipe is Tight...
Reviewed in Canada on April 5, 2022
This is a great little stove for the price. the only peeves I had was that the stove pipe fit together too tightly, and it took almost 2 hours to get apart after the first burn. so i made some relief cuts with a grinder as you can see in the pics. I cut both ends and polished with my dermal, I make sure cuts are not on same side when I put it together. Now it only takes 5 minutes to get apart.
After a couple of uses the front doors rivets started to loosen. I tapped them on each side with two hammers until the rivets were tight again. But all and all very pleased with the weight and function and easy to carry all in one bag. You probably wouldn't want to carry it 20km or anything, but for winter camping in a hot tent, pulling a sled isn't so bad,
Cheers,
Darrell
