I love this stuff. It smells so, so good!! Sometimes I wash our bedding in it just so it smells like the sweet baby smell of the detergent.
I've used this for three children now, and have never had any of them react badly to it.
And, because baby clothes are so small and you can fit so many in each load, the detergent lasts a super long time, so it's actually a really good value for the money.
I haven't noticed any negative effects on the clothes, the scent does linger which is great because it smells so fresh and sweet.
I like to include this in baby shower gifts, because it is a personal favorite for washing baby and toddler clothes
