- Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2019As a beginning runner, I'm realizing the need for water while I run. This container holds some water along with a space for your keys and mobile phone.
The "x-grip" keeps the pack in your hand without having to grip. I can keep my hand loose without worrying about it falling out. As I was sweating, the pack stayed in place.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2019Features: Bit tip, twist lock, cell phone pocket, smaller pouch for cards, cast, etc. Mesh wrap, elastic straps with "grippy" inside. Easy cleaning. Reflective strip around cell phone pocket zipper.
I like that it's collapsible and can be stuffed in a pocket, easy to clean and dries quickly. Even though it's a hand-grip bottle they still could have added a loop for a caribiner in case you want to hand it from a belt look, pack, etc. - who wants to hold a bottle all day?
The bottle is STRONG. I put a 45 lb weight on it and it did not pop or leak, so drops won't hurt it. Once it's down to the last few ounces it's easier to turn it upside down than try to suck it dry.
Excellent quality, but expensive.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2019My daughter loves to run but with allergies, dry through, heat, she doesn't do well without frequent water. This is perfect for about 3 mile run. It's lightweight, incredibly comfy to wear on either hand. The only real downside for when I use it is that my Pixel 3 is about a quarter inch too large to fit in the phone pocket. It still works fine for keys, ID, etc.
Washing isn't too hard since the water bag is removable. Overall, for people like me and my daughter, this is great way to stay hydrated.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2019Unfortunately, my iPhone plus phone did not fit in the zipper pocket. Had to return. Can’t run without my phone.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2019I've previously used the s-labs variant of these because they were basically the only ones available. The CamelBak ones are a bit cheaper -- and this one comes with a sleeve on it as well which helps hold it. I don't find running with a bottle terribly convenient, and sometimes these 'squishy' bottles are even more annoying, but at least it's an option for running. The pouch/holder here is nice, but I try to avoid putting more weight in my hands.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2019See update below.
What a step forward in water bottles. The bottle itself is collapsable so it compacts as it runs low. It has a bite nozzle and an open/close position on the cap to ensure that it doesn't leak. The bottle is removable and can be replaced, if you want, with a small water bottle. A 20oz fits perfectly. The collapsable bottle has a large cap opening, a somewhat rigid color so the opening doesn't collapse while you are trying to put the cap back on. The large opening makes it quicker to fill, empty, clean and to dry out. The bottle has a formed hole so you can hang it to dry.
The bottle holder has lots to offer. It's lightweight, and will cushion and give some insulation. It has a cross strap so you can hand carry it easily while hiking or running. It also has a loop for a carabiner to attach to your belt or pack. A reflective loop at the bottom keeps the bottle from slipping out, but can be pull aside to remove the bottle when necessary. The front has two compartments. One is zippered and the second folds over. Keys and cellphone or ID would be perfect there. I found only 2 minor things that might be considered a negative is that the collapsable bottle is difficult to re-insert if it is empty. Full, it's not a problem. The second is you have to hold the cap while you turn the open/close mechanism so that the cap doesn't loosen.
Overall, it's a great bottle. It's very well designed and made. It is very lightweight and perfect for backpacking, hiking, or running. Bravo!
UPDATE: The original bad taste that the water has coming from this bottle has not gone away with time and washing. I therefore reduced my 5 star rating to three. Still handy, but the water tastes yucky.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2019The good: it's comfortable and it stays put on your hand, thanks to diagonally crossing elastic bands (that work for either hand). The pocket is generously sized, and the water bladder holds more than it looks like it would (and the bladder shrinks in as you drink, making it easier to fill). The mouthpiece is one that CamelBak users will recognize, which doesn't spill easily and requires you to bit as you drink from it.
The bad: I've washed it several times. I've put multiple beverages in it. And yet, it still tastes like plastic when I drink from it. Lame.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2019I normally use a Nathan handheld bottle for my runs and I've been very happy with it. I was interested in trying this Camelbak version because it looked lightweight and the soft bladder seemed appealing. After just one run I can already tell I'll be sticking with the Nathan bottle. The Camelbak bottle has a bite-tip on it which makes it harder to use when you are winded. The soft bladder seems like a good idea until you have consumed about half of the water. Once you've done that the bottle becomes bottom heavy and gets a little awkward to hold. It also makes it harder to actually get a drink of water! The pocket designed to hold a phone is pretty small and there was no way my iPhone 8 plus was going to fit in it. I was okay with that but for some it may be an issue.

3.0 out of 5 stars It leaks
Remarkably difficult to get the lid on the bottle without it leaking. Bought it to run a marathon and top it up with my energy drink on the way round. I didn’t use it because of the leak issues. Also remarkably expensive for what it is.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Water Bottle for Runners, Expensive a bit!
Well,
The product is really well built and durable that one could expect from CamelBak. The fit is very good and comfortable and doesn’t slide during Speed Runs/Runs.
The only flaw is, the pocket is kinda small and cannot accommodate phones of 5.5 inch like iPhone X/11 etc. maybe it could accompany phones similar to sizing of iPhone 8 & so.
So the pocket is best for carrying keys, energy gels etc. The Jet is leakproof, and free.
The product is very expensive (₹2999/-) for the size and features. Durability wise I can assure it’s really well built.
