I'm in my 30s and have been battling dry skin for a few years. It's not something I focused on until this year when I would (for example) get an ingrown hair on my leg and it would start bleeding and not heal for a long time. After at least five of these spots occurred on one leg and didn't heal for over a week (and would start bleeding when I nicked them shaving, etc.), I decided to take action. Standing in the drugstore, perusing my options and saw the Vaseline brand. My Mom used to use the jelly everyday for my entire childhood - and presumably for the rest of her life - and always had nice skin, so I decided to try this particular brand and lotion. It's only been 36 hours, but I'm amazed! Not only does the moisture noticeably work, but the areas that have been giving me trouble are already healing and disappearing! I'm so happy in such a short amount of time that I'm using the Eczema oatmeal product on my 6 year old daughter who's been having a little bumpy patch of skin around her elbow. As long as their quality and recipes stay the same, Vaseline has a new customer for life!

My aging skin was so dry it was flaking.  I googled "dry skin" and Vaseline was the number one product.  I bought the Extremely dry skin rescue and in a matter of minutes my skin has felt wonderful.  I have used it for two days now and am thrilled with the way my legs and arms feel.  Thank you for this amazing product.

Cured my dry skin

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Hydrates so much that I use it as a hand cream since they use to crack and bleed all the time.  Dries fast so doesn't stay greasy too long.

I never write reviews, but this lotion deserves one. Cold northern winters + small children (frequent hand washing/hand sanitizer) = very dry hands and ragged cuticles. Regular lotions don't seem to help much, so when I saw this new product I decided to give it a try. Within one week of applying before bed, I saw a significant improvement in the health of the skin on my hands and cuticles - no longer red, peeling or dry looking!

Works Well

I have had dry skin problems all my life. Been using vaseline but it become a problem with a dusty environment I was living in. I tried all high end products but no change. Walked into a dischem pharmacy and saw a consultant to help me choose the problem to use. I was recommended this amazing new best friend. A month later I am healed and growing. Now also changing my hand lotion to it. Thanks Vaseline for coming to the rescue. My confidence and glow is back and I am in love with my self again.

I have really dry hands at times and this lotion is great and really helpful.  It did seem to be a thicker lotion about a year and a half ago but that's okay I still use it.  I like the fact there's not a perfume smell to it nor that Vaseline smell.  Really great lotion...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried a lot of over the counter products for really dry skin with no success so I was excited to try this. I used it for a week on my face where I had some extremely dry patches of skin. I saw no difference in my skin. I would definitely not buy this. I had never seen this in the store so I was hopeful with it being a new product that it would be different from all the other dry skin care products out there. I would not recommend.
