Although I have oily skin, I like to moisturize prior to my makeup application. As my oily skin people know, you have to be mindful of what type you use. This water moisture boost cream or whatever you call it is absolutely AMAZING!! It feels so good on my skin and it doesn't have a heavy perfume scent. It keeps my face and neck moisturized.

I never believe any claims of a moisturizer being matifying because well, those two things don't really go hand in hand. You matify to remove shine and you moisturize to hydrate which can cause shine. This does both. It gives you this plumping, soft, moisturized and matifying look. It lasts most of the day until I get shiny/oily but it works so well under make up. Oh, and it smells so.. juicy! You get hit with the cactus water smell and it's so refreshing, you want to sip the jar. I highly recommend this to any of my acne prone, oily skin people! I attached a photo to show consistency of the product, color, etc.

I absolutely love this moisturizer! I have very sensitive combination skin, but this is amazing for it without making me look greasy! It didn't have any fragrance smells to it which i like for skin care!

I have combo to oily skin that's pretty sensitive. I was very excited to try the Covergirl Clean Oil-free moisturizer because it seemed like the perfect fit for my skin type. I really like the texture. Is is a gel cream that is more of a gel. It goes on great and provides good moisture, but it does pill if you put too much on. If you're using this under makeup, it definitely helps mattify, but a little goes a long way. My only real issue with the product was the scent. It was fairly strong and I didn't really like it. The fragrance in the product didn't trigger my sensitive skin though, which I was surprised by, given how strong it smelled.

Good moisturizer for oily skins

I love this moisturizer. It's so light, fresh and clean. I live the way it feels on my skin and am obsessed with the fresh clean smell. I use it as my new night time moisturizer.

This must say this is a very lightweight moisturizer that smells devine.  My skin stayed hydrated throughout the day which was great. I dislike sticking my fingers in jar, doesn't feel sanitary. So a little spoon or scooper would be nice. Other than that I like the hydration it brings and i feel that after a week of using it my skin looks great.

This has an interesting texture. It feels almost like a skin blurring primer. It looks smooth at first & in the picture, but after your finger pulls off it's like it looses it's smoothness for a second. It smells a bit perfumed but it's barely there. It feels lightweight and easy to spread. I will add that it also feels like there's some kind of residue over the top. It's lightweight but I do feel ~something~ on my face. So far no irritation from the water cream so that's good. It's okay but the residue feeling definitely doesn't make me want to recommend this.
