It was soothing, mosturizing, sunk in well, smelled good and I managed to get by with it in both summer and winter. For someone with very dry skin, you may need something in addition to it, especially in colder months. In any case, it is one of the best moisturizers I have found. I also use it around the eyes. Sometimes with an eye cream on top.
