I wish I could rate better for the brightening however the taste that is left around the mouth despite my best efforts to keep the product far away lingers ALL DAY. A bitter, alcohol, grotesque flavor that is left on your hand and around the mouth that taints everything you eat the rest of the day.

I have been using Boots No. 7 products for a few years and when this toner came out I tried it. It is the best toner I have used as it really cleans the skin after cleansing and tightens the skin as well.

1. I know it’s vitamin c but the scent is STRONG which I didn’t mind at first, but after two weeks of using it my face BROKE OUT. That was the only thing I changed in my skincare routine and before I was using it my face was pretty clear, hadn’t had a break out in a while. My face is sensitive/acne prone

I have added this to my bedtime skin routine . I don’t like to dry my skin by using a cleanser at night. I use this to remove makeup, then apply a serum and a night moisturizer. I can see an improvement in my skin in just one week. Pores are smaller, tone has improved, overall younger looking skin. The scent is citrus fresh. It’s a perfect product at a great price.

I purchased this on a whim and am very impressed with the results after only a couple weeks of use. This works much better than a vitamin c serum I had been using previously and has really brightened my skin. Will be repurchasing although the bottle is quite large and will likely last 3-6 months with once a day use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly wasn't expecting too much from this drug store brand (sorry No 7!) but I was very wrong. The 3-O ethyl ascorbate is a very stable and effective form of vitamin c, and it's the 3rd ingredient on the list. I love the natural form of salicylic acid (willow bark) and the soothing botanicals from aloe and cucumber. Does it have fragrance? Sure, but it's far down on the list, 2nd to last ingredient, so there isn't much of it. I find this toner to be brightening and lightly exfoliating. Impressed with it's performance- I've used toners 3x the price that haven't performed as well so this is a keeper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toner was a perfect after face wash follow up. I also found it does and Amazing job of removing mascara with a few easy swipes! I used this toner every day after every face wash and noticed a difference in the brightness of my skin with in a week or so. Light and easy on the skin this toner is the perfect and affordable follow up to your face wash routine. I'll definitely be purchasing the nice this bottle is finished. Comes with quite a bit of product so that maybe a awhile from now. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good toner, that makes the akin feel fresh, clean but not too drying. With the vitamin c addition you'll also get the anti aging benefits.
