Love this! Helped heal my damaged skin.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this product. It sounds cheesy, but it's changed my life. Here's what I mean.I recently had a HORRIBLE reaction to some other eye cream. It was like a chemical burn. When my skin finally started to heal, it was dry and almost leathery under my eyes. All the sudden, I had wrinkles I never had before, just due to the bizarre texture change of my skin. It needed moisturizer desperately but every single product I put there just burned like crazy. I couldn't even cover it up with makeup because the skin was rough and foundation, concealer and powder would all just sink into the cracks and make them look even worse, if that's possible. (See top picture.) It was really awful and upset me quite a bit. I'm "only" 40 and I have reasonably decent skin everywhere else, but suddenly having all those wrinkles under my eyes aged me so much. Ugh.Because I'd tried so many other eye creams, I honestly didn't have high hopes for this one. So I applied it under my eyes and held my breath, waiting for the burning to start like had happened with every other product. Nothing. It was glorious. It went on super smoothly and I had no hint of any burning sensation at all. And, maybe most importantly, my skin finally felt like it was getting some moisture! I can't even describe what a relief this was to me.I've been using it twice a day for just over a week. Even during that short time, the difference in the skin in my undereye area is really noticeable. My skin is healing more and more daily. My normal skin texture is returning. And I can wear makeup without suddenly looking 10+ years older again! This product does a beautiful job of smoothing out rough skin and filling in wrinkles so makeup sits beautifully on top. (See bottom picture.)Now, I know lots of folks probably won't like that this product contains silicone. If I'm honest, I didn't love that either, at first. But here's the thing: at least in my situation, I firmly believe it's actually the silicone that's allowing it to work so well. And every day when I wash my face, I can see how much my skin's texture is returning to normal. So I'm not even mad about it now.Instead, I seriously love this stuff. It really has saved me, in a way. I was SO down about how ruined my skin was. And even though I felt like I'd tried everything, I still couldn't fix it. I was feeling like I was facing a reality where that's just how my skin was. And I just hated it. But now! It's so much better. And it looks better every day.I'm so thankful this product worked so well for me. It's pricey, yes. But totally worth it. Love, love, love this eye cream. Highly recommend!
