- Lavender Essential Oil: known for its soothing and calming properties
- Evening Primrose Oil: known to help maintain skin hydration and elasticity
- Squalane: a highly-refined botanical lipid derived from olives; with an exceptional affinity to skin, it absorbs easily and is known to help replenish skin's barrier keeping it soft, supple, and moisturized
Dispense 3-4 pumps into dry or wet hands. Massage into dry skin, including eye area to remove makeup. Add water and continue massaging lightly into skin. Rinse with warm water and follow with Midnight Recovery Eye and Midnight Recovery Concentrate.
Pro tip: To remove long-wear and waterproof makeup, dispense 2 pumps onto cotton pad. Press on area, hold for 10 seconds, then gently wipe clean.

To use this product you must dispense 3-4 pumps into dry or wet hands, massage oil cleanser into dry skin including eye area, add water, and massage skin to emulsify. I use Keihl's Skin Tone Correcting & Beatifying BB for the base of my daily make up, and the Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil simply does not remove it adequately at the end of the day.

Holy grail for cleaning pores
This cleansing oil is amazing for removing skin "grit." Leave it on for 15 minutes or so & gently massage every 5 minutes. It loosens gunk in congested pores like nothing I've ever tried before & without drying out your skin, or ruining your skin barrier. I do also use AHA & BHA acids as a part of my skin routine. Game changer.

Expected more from this because of the name brand and price but it was average compared to all the other cleaning oils i used in the past. I wouldn't buy it again.

I have used Kiehl's products for a long time now and I found this cleanser to be really good for my dry skin, however, you have to be careful not to drip it on your shirt, after washing it - it was still stained.

I never thought I would use an oil to take off my makeup, especially my eye makeup. I have been using this for several years now and don't know what I did without it. It cleans every bit of makeup off. I do follow up with a light wash with a Kiehl's cleanser and then follow with the midnight recovery oil.
