Yes I normally use a wet washcloth to rinse off.

does this need rinsing with water after application? or is this a wipe off system?

Since everyone's skin is different, it is really hard to suggest a skincare product. I have been listening to recommendations for years to treat my acne, and I have discovered that a product someone considers to be a holy grail could wreak havoc on someone else's skin.

That being said, however, I did use this product. I discovered that it did not removed make-up for me. I am not even refeering to eye makeup but face makeup. (It doesnt remove eye-makeup either--it actually burns if you get is close to your eyes). I only wear a light BB cream, and after washing my face for 5 min with this TWICE, my white towel still showed all my makeup when I dried it.
I think it's safe to conclude that is doesn't remove oil or dirt from your face.

I like to use it in the shower. My face is usually damp so I add a dollop to my palm and then spread onto my face. I leave it on while I soap up and then I rinse it off. You will feel a cool sensation on your skin. Very nice.

Happiness in a tube

I love how this deep cleanser is deep and penetrating, but also calm and clarifying. The chamomile scent is nice, and the wash feels nice too on my soar shoulder muscles. Lol, I use it not just on my face,  but my neck and shoulders. But it honesty works and is very nice! 😅

Best Cream Clenser

If your skin is dry and oily it is perfectly to help with keeping your skin from not drying out when washing it but also from preventing it from getting oily after washing it (helps with acne if you get acne when your skin breaks out when using other gentle face cleansers).

Perfect for combination skin!

I originally ordered a product for pick up that was for sensitive skin from this brand. They did not have it in stock and substituted this one. When someone orders something for sensitive skin they expect to receive a product for sensitive skin and shouldn't have to fear the replacement is not. This product is indeed not for sensitive skin and burns my face everytime I use it. I didn't want it to go to waste so I continue to try and get through it but it doesn't get better the more I use it. Just keeps burning
