Put about a tablespoon on your wet hair and massage it on your roots and scalp.  It smells so good and was very invigorating on my scalp.

I loved the feeling of the scrubbing beads being massaged into my hair pores.  This cool, tingly feeling left my scalp feeling awesome and refreshed.  I'm sure a lot of buildup has been removed from my scalp, since this was my first time using a product like this.  My hair did feel moisturized and less tangled afterwards.  It's great that this polish doesn't have drying alcohols or sulfates, which can be tough on my hair. The ginger and yuzu added is a plus for healthier hair.

I love everything about this product! It's smells amazing!! 
It's easy to apply and use, you can spread it evenly and lightly scrub your scalp. The dead skin just comes off in the wash. I love it. 
Highly recommend if you have dandruff or just want to wear black without having flakes on your clothes.

It tingles a bit, but didn't irritate my skin at all. The scent is an exhilarating blend of citrus notes. Refreshing Root Scrub

Work's like a champ

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HQ Exfoliating Polish for Balanced Roots & Scalp was a refreshing product to help cleanse and exfoliate my scalp.  It was a nice twist on scrubbed but for the scalp.  There was no irritation and my scalp felt really clean of dandruff/dryness.  All buildup was lifted. You also don't need to use a lot. I did use a shampoo to get a max clean as this was just an exfoliant.

Upon opening, 2 things I noticed was the smell (super fresh smelling) and how much product is actually in the container (noticeably not very full in my opinion) the texture is that of a body scrub. I dont have thin or very thick hair but I had a hard time getting this onto my scalp... and when I finally did it didn't feel like it was doing much. My fiance used it (short hair) it was easy to get on his scalp but he also didn't think it did much for him either.
