I have tried tons of cuticle treatment products over the years and none ever made much difference. This is the FIRST one that I have ever liked (loved ❤) enough to buy a second time ~ and I bought the second one when I still had about a quarter of the first tin left because I didn't want to take a chance that I would run out and be without it for even one night! I've struggled with tough skin on the sides of my nails for decades and I would file it off to smooth it and all that really did was make it come back worse and thicker. With Burt's that tough skin is soft and smooth and pretty!! I've always been fortunate that my cuticles were never a big issue for me. I'm very strict about NEVER cutting them and even when I used to get my nails done at a salon years ago, I wouldn't let them near my cuticle with clippers. This cream has made my good cuticle even better! Also I haven't had a hang nail in ages. It has truly changed how my hands look and feel!

It has a light lemon scent that doesn't linger. The texture is not really a cream, but more of a balm. It's waxy in a good way. It absorbs into the skin, but also leaves a layer on top of the skin and I think this is part of the magic, because it keeps the skin super moist and hydrated and allows the product to work to soften.

I use it faithfully every night before I go to sleep. It feels so good that I often massage it in for 15~20 minutes without even realizing how much time has passed. Follow with a favorite band cream and my nails/hands have never looked better. At 51 years old this product has honestly made my hands look younger because that skin around my nails is no longer tough, ragged, thick and ugly looking.

At less than $6.00 it's an amazing bargin! A tin lasts several months with daily use and it works better than products I have spent five times the price on! I never want to be without this!!

I can't say enough about this cuticle cream. I use it on my cuticles and it does help make my nails healthier. I also use it on my lips as a balm - it smooths out wrinkles and keeps my lips moisturized, even with 16 hr. lip stain. I get red lines on my neck that come and go. You guessed it - it controls that too.

It would probably work on the face too, but I wouldn't risk clogging my pores. This stuff is thick and has a greasy feel. It's better than the actual Burts Bees lip balm, which disturbed my lip color when I swiped it on. With this, I dab some on my finger and press it onto my lips.

I have always had—what I referred to as—popcorn cuticles; dry, pealing, painful cuticles. Because of the pealing I had a tendency to pick at my cuticles which ultimately made them worse. My cuticles were so bad that my nail beds were negatively affected leading to the nail not growing out properly (holes and deep horizontal lines). On top of that, in my 30s, I found out that I have eczema on my hands. When I asked my dermatologist how to fix my nail problems, she simply said “don’t pick at them”. Well, easier said than done when eczema and a history of chronic dry skin leads to cuticle fringe catching on fabric leading to pain and bleeding unless constantly clipped. Even at this point, no lotion or eczema cream helped with my cuticle problem.

Until my sister in law gave me the Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream for Christmas 2 years ago. It took me a year to use it, but when I did it only took maybe 10 days for my cuticles to completely heal because they received direct, much needed, moisture. Because my sister in law gave me the cuticle cream that usually comes in a gift set, I ran out within a month, and when I couldn’t find the cuticle cream in any local store (even Walmart) I checked Amazon. Once I found it on Amazon I purchased 2. When I received them in the mail I was surprised at the size; it is much larger than the one that comes in the gift set. I have only opened one and haven’t ran out. Now my cuticles don’t need to be clipped as often, leaving my once “popcorn cuticles” smooth as butter.

This stuff is simply fantastic. I always carry it in my pocket to reapply after washing my hands and during those times when I just want some extra moisture. I have even, accidentally, used this as a lip balm. It seems to work well, but I don’t think that was what it was intended for.
