I bought this book after getting an Eames chair and going to look at the Eames home in Calif. I'm a big fan of Ray and Charles work. The book has great pictures and just enough history of their work.

Being a California girl, I happened upon the Eames house in the Pacific Palisades on a drive one day as my sister lived in the neighborhood. When I spotted it my jaw dropped and I slammed on the brakes and jumped outta my car! I didn't know that it was the Eames house at the time I just was gobsmacked at the sight of it. The owner came out and looked at me frozen in my tracks and asked me if he could help me. I just said I was so in love with his house. After that I don't think I heard anything else he said. Get the book and be gobsmacked like I was that day!
