A nice, simple, very inexpensive wall clockGeorgeI have it on a white wall where it is intended to be inconspicuous. The only minor issue for me is the glossy cover. I'd prefer a plain matte white background, flat against the wall. The clock mechanism is fine. Silent - not ticking.
Cute clock bad designMyraThe clock is very attractive and the price was reasonable. Unfortunately the design is stupid. There is no hold to hang the clock on. There is a small slotted area but you need special hanging device like a command strip. It's ridiculous that I have to spend more on the command strip then the clock cost.

May not be so silent after allMicahI've had this clock for about 1.5 months, and it started audibly ticking. While taking it off the wall, it fell about four feet, and stopped audibly ticking; it still ticks if you place your ear close to the quartz movement, but this may have been the case before. I don't feel confident that it won't start audibly ticking again in future.
Also, the plastic crystal is soft and extremely prone to scratches. I doubt you can find one without any. But it's not really noticeable on a day to day basis. The case itself (the white component) is soft plastic, but it doesn't appear to affect anything.
Yes, it was $2.99, and it's cheaply made (the quartz movement is quite accurate though, esp. for such a cheap timepiece), but if it's sold as being "silent," I expect it to remain "silent" for at least several years.

Inexpensive clock, a good valueGaryThis is just a basic, inexpensive clock, but it works very well and is great if you want something with a very low price. The numbers are just holes in the face, so if you hang the clock on a white wall, the numbers will be very hard to see. Otherwise, it's good and uses just one AA battery.
LoudLissaThis clock is in our bathroom and the background noise is constant. You can’t hear it over running water but in those moments of taking contacts out or doing make up, the mechanical sound is slightly grating (not a ticking sound) and distracts you.
