I have a G4Free sling and I love it, but it's too small to hold my 10.4" tablet. Thus, I decided to try the Osprey. It's a very high quality sling bag. It has plenty of space for my needs. The material is much thicker and tougher than the G4Free.
The G4Free on the other hand has an outside mesh pocket, which I miss on the Osprey. However, the front pocket works just fine for a small water bottle.
The Daylite is very high quality and appears that it will hold up for the long haul. It's very comfy and has some padding on the inside. It's very water resistant and you won't have to worry about getting you gear wet in rain. I'd be cautious in a downpour, however.
This pack isn't designed to carry a tablet, but for my needs when I occasionally carry my tablet it works great. It fits with the case on too. This essentially acts as my daily use and dad bag (kid supplies - snacks, hand wipes, etc.).
It's a great little bag and I highly recommend it.
