I will only purchase Google products to protect me. I have these cameras surrounding my property. Best out there! i suggest purchasing the solar panel for them as well, and you'll never have to charge them again!

I have always enjoyed the Google ecosystem. I have a wired Google camera and enjoyed the quality. However, for a wireless camera using only magnets? I am blown away. I absolutely love the app design and how strong the magnets hold on the base and wall. Highly recommend if you're looking for something in a nice price range and you're looking for some security!

We bought this camera to watch our dog when we were away and it's been a blessing to have. It's also give us a lot of reassurance when we leave the house. One thing I absolutely love about it is that we can access the feed from our phones just about anywhere we go. It also has a microphone that enables you to speak to your pet while you're away. Sometimes it's a bit laggy but for the price you pay it's really a good product.

Only stores 3 hours of events

I bought this July 2022. I have problems with it 80% of the time. It keeps shutting off when I try to review live or recorded video on my cell. Very hard to rewind video, takes many tries. I have to tap things 5 times to see live video.  I have to click "front yard camera" box many times because it shuts off. It's just a pain trying to use it. The picture and sound are great when they work.

Terrible

the app freezes up in the middle of the setup and will not allow you to finish the camera setup.  you run into an even bigger headache trying to get use their "installation assist app.  It is even more poorly managed.It is such a shame that something that can be so simple is made to be such a headache. I think the goal is to simply sell their products. They couldn't care less about the difficulties of settling it up. From now on, the Nest brand, to me means 💩 poop.

Bad business

This is a terrible disappointment. I own three other Nest (preGoogle) cameras and wanted more coverage of my backyard- specifically at night due to wildlife activity. First evening of installation went like this: Received a notification of person in backyard even though clearly no one has been in the backyard since the camera was installed 3 hours earlier. While trying to review the video of mystery person, the app crashed twice. Then once the sun set, even with “Night vision always on,” all I got was darkness. I had to turn a patio light on to get a faint image. I'm returning this camera and going back to using the Nest app with the older devices that actually work as expected. I'd rather have less coverage than crappy, unreliable and delayed security.
