Product Description

Introducing the new Pro Trek PRW2500R, a high performance tool developed under the supervision of meteorologists to take on challenging environments. Like all triple sensor Pro Trek models, the PRW2500R features easy-one-touch operation of its Altimeter/Barometer, Compass and Thermometer. A reconfigured duplex LCD layout provides optimal upper & lower LCD layout for information at-a-glance when you're on the go. In addition to numerical and trend graph data, unique arrow icons help to indicate characteristic barometric pressure patterns. 200 meter water resistance has also been employed to ensure strong water resistance for river trekking & rafting where one would encounter strong water pressure. The addition of tide & moon graph/data provides convenient information for sea kayaking and fishing. Black resin band digital watch with neutral face. Accuracy: +/- 15 seconds per month (with no signal calibration)

Casio

With the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.

Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward.

I love these Watches (But be aware of a couple things)
4 Stars
I love these Watches (But be aware of a couple things)
Let me preface this by saying that, I love the Casio Pro-Trek Line of Watches. I've been Buying them since they were called "Pathfinder" (My PAG-40 actually needs new batterys) I just Thought some people might be interested in seeing what one of these watches looks like after being on the wrist of Electrician that is into winter and shooting sports for the better part of 5 years. This Watch has been my daily wear since I bought it in Sept. 2015. If you need with the Alt. Digi Comp, or Bar Calibrations you're going to regret it I read the instructions when I tried to get the Alt. & Comp. Dialed in and ever since they've been off Just a little (So just leave them alone or pay a pro to calibrate your watch). Like I said I'm a big fan of these watches ( I have 3 Different Protrek or Pathfinder watches) but after 5 years my PRW2500 isn't looking so hot I didn't realize the rotating bezel would become unreadable and all of the color would be worn off, the band cracked also pictured, and somehow I acquired a big gouge in the lens. And granted I'm hard on all my tools (Yes I consider these watches tools) but I don't wear my watches Upside down why would the band crack on the underside? I just got my newest Pro trek (PRW-3510Y-8) and love it as much as all my others but I might not wear this one to work as often as I did with my 2500 which I now have to figure out how to get the bezel and lens replaced and I am not sure that CAsio offers any of those services and I'm not crazy about shopping around town for a competent watch servicer. So If you're thinking of getting one of these watches. Get it! Don't let anything I say discourage you from getting one, that is not my intent quite the opposite. I just thought I might be able to give everyone a little insight into owning one of these watches longterm. So that everyone can keep their timepieces looking great for a long time. Just remember that while these watches are tough, They are not indestructible... But they’re close ;-)Have Fun Out There!
