Where can you purchase the replacement filters and how much are they?

The filters replacements on this unit basically only need dexterity movement of the thumbs and pointer fingers.  The pre-filter screen has two plastic clips that you gently press down to grasp and remove to vacuum or rinse (dries quickly, but do be sure to thoroughly dry before reinserting) once or twice a month.  The second 'filter' is the thin, black charcoal layer that only requires to be replaced every 6 months and simply inlays on the backside(facing unit) of the pre-filter screen.  Although quite obvious, be sure to remove this charcoal filter when cleaning pre-filter screen.  Lastly, the white filter that only needs to be replaced once a year has two pull tabs directly on each side of the filter to easily pull out from the unit.  The white replacement filter that has a thin cardboard frame, fits nicely, but may need to be slightly pressed down on one corner to sit back inside the unit.  This unit comes with a one year white filter and one black charcoal filter (which really should include 2 of the blacks ones to be set up with filters for one full year though).  However, a one year supply of 2 charcoal filters and 1 one white filter can easily be found online for $20 total.  Although the washable pre-filter screen that isn't required to be replaced at all, for my own convenience purposes, I purchased a second one found online for $25 so I could simply swap the dirty one to vacuum/rinse for a clean one at the same time.  I have had this Coway model for 15 months and absolutely love it with zero complaints to date!  In fact, it has also been my very best friend through all the smoke from the fires!  I typically do not write reviews but felt this question warranted a response from another very happy consumer with this product that is SO easy to operate, too.  I hope this helps! :)

We bought this air purifier to help with removing odor when our neighbors smoke since the smell leaks through and we haven't had any moments of smelling that odor. We also purchased this for overall air quality especially during allergy season. The sensor works great. I bought new linen sheets which shed immensely first time out of the box and this purifier went into work mode. I cleaned it for the first time a week ago and saw the same fibers from my linen sheet trapped in the pre-filter. Safe to say this works as intended and as a bonus, it looks sleek/beautiful. I purchased this in white.
