Nice light weight blanket!
Not sure if this would protect against sun more than a regular blanket. It is nice cause it’s very light weight so if it’s warmer I can lay it over my baby’s legs to protect from the sun but also keep her cool.

    We took this blanket on a beach trip with our baby who must be protected from the sun. It was great. It is lightweight, soft, and compact with very good sun protection as far as I could tell. This blanket is versatile enough to be a "regular" baby blanket, so we use it at the pool and for other outdoor adventures. I have also used it as a shawl, and it does not have stiff fabric or a weird sweaty feeling.

    This is about the size of a small swaddle blanket which is what I expected and hoped for since I toss it in my diaper bag. I picked the heathered brown color and it is gorgeous in person. We live somewhere with lots of sun at high altitude and it’s hard to get outside with an infant since they can’t wear sunscreen. This is used as a cover for legs in a stroller, as a head covering while being carried, and as a light-blocker during naps outside in the ring sling. It washes well and is super soft. I’m tempted to get a second for my toddler!

    This sun blanket is so great! It is very lightweight and in a recent trip to Tahiti on hot days when lounging I could spread the blanket over myself and not feel heated because it was so thin and light but at the same time receiving great sun protection. Even my husband ended up using my second one. He generally turns his nose up at hats and sunshades but I noticed he had spread a towel over his legs at one point to shield against the sun. I gave him the sun blanket to try instead and he was happy at how light weight it was and ended up using the second for the rest of the trip.

    Twice the price, half the size. I realize you probably have the actual size listed somewhere on Amazon, but I'm going to say that this is so small for the price. I didn't open this till I got to the beach. I can barely cover my adult legs. The pictures imply that it is atleast small tourist store beach towel size. This is hottest shower towel size. If you are buying this for adults, go larger, or buy multiple.
