I love these Baggu bags and own several different patterns & sizes. They're lightweight, strong, stylish & they pack away to a neat, slim square using the matching pouch. I tuck one into my handbag or suitcase whenever I travel. In airports these small sized bags are perfect for carrying extra layers of clothes, a bottle of water, a snack, a paperback or last minute duty free purchases. In colder climates the black one is perfect for taking off a scarf, hat & gloves when you go inside. In warmer climates - the nautical blue and white stripes are great to carry sun cream, water, hat & sunglasses.
And on shopping trips you can do your bit for the environment and decline the plastic bag. I wish the pouch was attached or integrated into the bag so it wasn't possible to lose, but otherwise they're great.
Tip: If you want to buy shopping bags specifically to carry bulkier groceries - chose one of the two larger sizes. These small bags are really only suited to picking up a few essential groceries and the handles are short so they're designed to carry in hand, not to sling over your shoulder.

Good for really small trips to the store.
I love the standard Baggu bags (which are big!) so I ordered the small Baggu bags for smaller grocery trips. The bags are the same excellent quality as the standard size. Strong, sturdy material and construction. Look cute. But the small Baggu bags don't hold as much as an average plastic grocery bag though. The size is comparable but they don't open as wide as store bags. These are good for very small trips to the store. In the pictures below, you can see the sizes of the standard Baggu, small Baggu and an ordinary Target plastic bag. I also included pictures of the small Baggu with ordinary grocery items to show how much can fit it that size bag. All that I put in it is pictured next to the bag. I could top the bag with a few ramen noodle packs but nothing else too big or heavy.
