Excellent tool shears
These seem like an excellent improvement on the previous model of these shears (model W7T). Moving from the slipper finger grooves to the rubber overmold makes the grip much more comfortable and reliable and also more adaptable to different hand positions. I often find myself choking up on the handle for more accurate cutting, and the handle lends itself well to that. The lock mechanism works well and is well-placed for easy operation with the right-hand thumb. The shears cut easily, and it seems like they far outperform what you would expect with the modest length. I keep these in my tool bag, and I use them daily. If you're in the market for some compact tool/shop shears, these are an excellent option at a great price.

    These are amazing. I use them to cut 3-4 oz vegetable tanned leather. They are so sharp and easy to use. The only issue I have is the huge size. I'm a woman, and although I have large hands for a woman, these scissors are a little too big for me and cause fatigue in my hands quickly. I still love them a lot and use them almost everyday, but I am on the lookout for the perfect pair. If these were normal scissor size, they would be the best scissors in the universe.

    For when normal scissors just won’t cut it. I was doing a lot of custom canvas fabrication and my hands were getting tired. I figured these shears were a gamble, but worth a try.

    Now, I bought two more and this is all I use for daily cutting. Packaging, zip ties, layers of tarpaulin canvas, rope.

    The two blades are bolted tight together at the perfect tolerance so you get a powerful clean cut even when snipping heavy material with the tip of the shears. It’s like having a precision bolt cutter. No blade deflection like normal scissors.

    The leverage and power is life-changing. No more tired hands. Feels like the shears are doing the work for you. They have stayed sharp for the past month of daily hard use. They’re micro-serrated so not exactly sharpenable, but for me it’s a worthwhile consumable product.

    For large hands only, it seems. The handle is too large for small hands. Seems like all the benefits go away if you have smaller hands.

    I recently grabbed a pair of the Wiss CW10TM 10 inch heavy-duty titanium coated tradesman shears and I would say they're pretty impressive. I do a lot of crafting and occasionally tackle some home improvement projects and these shears have really made a difference. The first thing I noticed was how sharp the blades are. They cut through fabric like butter which is great when I’m working on my sewing projects.
