I have a small studio above my garage that I rent out to traveling professionals. There is one small cabinet that was generally unused, approximately 10 inches wide. I measured twice, but it was off by less than a quarter of an inch and could not fit. Instead, I installed it under the sink cabinet. It was not my first choice, but it was installed easily, pulled out easily, and felt sturdy. Once the lease term is up, I'll know if it worked as expected.

Yay, trash can is included!!!I searched the internet for days looking for a specific configuration of 2 side by side trash cans (see photo); but unfortunately, I couldn't find one. I found numerous options with 2 trash cans configured as one in front of the other, but that is NOT what I needed.My cabinet is only 20" wide, which severely limited my single slide out trash can options, however; I was able to create exactly what I wanted by installing 2 of these side by side in my cabinet. My cabinet was also a two door cabinet, instead of a 1 door cabinet, but I resolved that problem by using acrylic rectangles as flat brackets to secure the doors together, creating one door (see photos.)I had to order 2 of this Door Mount Bracket for Bottom Mount Slide Out Waste Bins, because I wanted a "single" door that I could open with the pull of a handle or a pull of my foot. In hindsight, I probably should have ordered a white foot pull, but I might remove it and just spray it white.I also found that this dual side by side trash can configuration left a void of wasted storage space behind the trash cans, so I ordered these Adjustable Height Support Legs and placed a box on them to create a couple of makeshift shelves. I my eventually install wood shelves, but for now it works just fine.This was a fairly expensive project, but it includes all hardware mentioned above AND…I got the EXACT pull out trash can configuration I wanted, with the cans side by side. *Update* called customer service twice…their very nice message says to leave a detailed message and they will call back. They did not, so I emailed , they emailed me back promptly and said parts would be mailed and would not need to remove the installed rails. Waiting for parts. *So very excited to find a pullout trash bin that would fit under my deep sink. At $97…not inexpensive. Promptly arrived…within a week. Assembly instructions are clear and installation is easy peasy…if your parts aren’t faulty and you have all of the parts. I am missing one ‘cage locking clip’ and the right side of the ‘cage’ (the part that holds the trash bin) will not engage into the right side of the sliding base assembly. See photos. Directions say to push down firmly on the right side of the cage into the clips…no way. As I was assembling after working hours, 6 pm ish, customer service could not assist me as their hours go until 5 pm eastern time. I left a detailed message as instructed and also sent a detailed email to the customer service address on their website. Do I think they’ll make it right? I’m 98% sure they will. But for now, I need to wait for a part and most probably remove the sliding base assembly that I already installed from the cabinet to put in the replacement I hope they will promptly send. Quality issues just make me crazy.

Just to point out, I did a lot of research to find the best garbage bin pull-out system that wouldn't be too outrageous in cost. I read many reviews on this one and admittedly was nervous to order (complaints of broken items, poor quality materials, etc) but long story short - I LOVE this product and would recommend it to anyone else!sas86Perfect size, slides smoothly, highly recommend!

I gave it 4 stars just because I feel like the directions could have been clearer in certain steps; I found myself coming back to these reviews looking for extra help - SO, I'm writing this review with hopes that it will help the next person!!
FYI all of the pieces (excluding the bin) can literally only be installed one way, so you don't have to worry about putting something in backwards.
The dimensions are accurate (you can see they had to be considering the plumbing I needed to avoid under my sink).
Tips:
***Like a few other reviews have mentioned, I would install the basket frame to the base FIRST.
It's just as easy to mark/drill your holes for the base after this frame is attached AND you can double check that the bin doesn't hit the hinge or door as it's pulled out BEFORE fastening it tightly to the bottom.
***I've attached 2 close up pictures of how the basket frame attaches to the base. (One of the left side connection, one of the right side connection). For the life of me I could not make the left side connect, and was afraid to dent something out of shape. Turns out you really need to give it some elbow grease so the piece 'clicks' in.
You do this part with the base rails extended, and then let the right side of the frame rest on the rails as you push them back in.
Then to connect the right side, you again, need to put some weight in from the top until it snaps into place.
The second picture you see is of the plastic clip that's added for extra security (FYI the booklet says you will receive 2, I only received one however I don't think a 2nd one is needed...)
***I had the basket frame installed to the base incorrectly (the left side wasn't fully connected) and let me tell you the garbage bin slid in and out horribly. (I was almost convinced that's how it 'should' be.) I gave it another shot - the left side clicked in much better, and the entire bin rolled out so smoothly, like it was on butter.
And that's it!
I'd give a 4.5 star instead of a 4 star if I could because it doesn't deserve a full star knock down.
So happy with the overall look and the way it functions!
