- Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2024We've purchased copies for ourselves and others. The game is complicated enough that you can strategize well and get the satisfaction of a big move, but newer or younger players can also just match cards and enjoy the whimsical look of the game. I really like the playful, mystical feel. The pieces are high quality, and it's wonderful that it all packs into a small box.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2024I love this game! I was introduced to it by my cousin, and I instantly fell in love. You can only find it on Amazon unfortunately, but the game is definitely worth it!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2018Our old family heirloom version of this game was recently destroyed in a suspicious fire. We suspect the perpetrator was a member of a secret society whose goals are in direct opposition to our own. But I digress.
While the modern version of this game doesn't sport the Okus tokens handed down through the generations, nor the luminary cards hand-painted by Dali; but, the components included are beautiful none-the-less. A quality cloth mat, sturdy (and well printed) playing cards, and luminaries that are similar to cards from the tarot, not to mention odd little knickknacks to use as Okus offerings. All stored in a box that's easy to pick up and go when being followed.
I obviously don't have to say much about the actual game play. Everyone has no doubt played this centuries old card game. The rules are the same, and it's as simple to pick up and learn as expected. Even after many games played throughout the decades, I am still picking up nuanced strategies and tactics to this very day.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2024This game is perfectly zen. My house loves to come home and play after a bad day. Couldn’t give it more stars, but I would if I could.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2020We absolutely love this game! We started playing over Christmas break and have enjoyed. The only bummer is that our cards have already started to separate (two weeks of playing on and off). We were hoping to gift the game out to others but are reluctant with ours already falling apart.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2025This is a fun and attractive game. I played it once with people and wanted it. It is a little confusing at first but the overall gameplay is pretty simple. I will say that it is confusing to explain how to play. A great card game that looks cool and has an awesome origin story
