This shampoo is a bit pricey so I was a little sketchy but I've bought other products from this brand that I love so I figured "try anything once" . We'll I've only used it 4x and already am noticing a huge difference with my hair loss!! So I'm looking forward to see what a month..2 months down the road will be like with continuous use. I just want to yell it from the rooftops!
We all have likely different reasons for short or long term hair loss, but I just want to scream from the rooftops how happy I am, to have finally found something that made a difference for me. At 42 ( 7 years ago) I went on a diet to lower my cholesterol. The diet might have been too radical, or the start of my hair loss might have been totally coincidental. Check out my before picture collage of a full hand of hair with each hair wash, not counting the daily shedding. I kept hearing you are going through the change bs. A military dermatologist didn’t take me serious at all. At that time I had still plenty of hair to spare he thought, I guess. He said genetic Alopecia without even taking a look at my scalp. Rogaine and a lifetime commitment was his answer. No further investigation. I did not want to deal with loosing all my hair at once, if I was ever to stop Rogaine. I can not tell how much money I spent over the years on biotin, hair growth pills, collagen, scalp treatments and serums. And yes,….. I did take all of them long enough to find it didn’t work for me.I always had sensitive skin to a point where at times cosmetics gave me severe itching or burns on my scalp and face, literally. So I try to stay away from any chemicals since the start of loosing my hair as much as I can and only wash my hair every 5 days with a mild baby shampoo. My hair is very long, but so thin that blow-drying wasn’t even necessary anymore. It would just air dry within minutes.December 2021 I finally came across an article talking about DHT blocker. Upon further research I found this shampoo. With only the second wash, I noticed a huge difference in hair shedding during my shower. I rarely ever find a loose hair on my clothes between washes, so what’s pictured is a 5 days supply of hair loss since using Pura D’Or.Today I blow dried my hair as my husband walked in. My hair was so poofy, he asked if he should put on some Van Halen music:-) After only 6 weeks I feel much more confident, knowing it’s only a matter of time now, before I will enjoy going out again and socialize.
