Good set of strainers, single layer stainless steel mesh is 23 openings per inch. This is very fine, though not near as fine as a tea strainer I have that is 47 mesh. Sizes shown in listing are outside rim diameters. Actual strainer diameters are 2-1/2, 4-3/4 and 7 inches. Smallest size is little for a coffee cup. Strainers are bowl shaped. Mesh is crimped into polished rim and seems sturdy and doesn't leave a gap for food particles to get stuck into. Spot welding on handles looks strong and didn't break when I applied pressure. Handles are a good size with thicker wire on the larger two. I got these to replace a 20-year old one I have that is on its last leg. Photos compare Norpro and the old one I have with the Cuisinart.Overall, nice set of fine mesh strainers, excellent value, I got all three for slightly more than the single Norpro. I don't see any major difference in quality between the two though I like the Norpro slightly better as it perfectly fits my coffee cup.June 2022 update: These look and work just as good as the day I got them. They are an excellent tool for the correct application. (The largest one is not a colander for a full load of wet pasta though it holds it fine so long as common sense is applied and the strainer is supported by both handles.) As far as cleaning, sure stuff can get stuck in the mesh, use an old tooth brush to clean or put in the dishwasher. I haven't had any of the problems others have listed. Misapplication of any tool can do damage. Use common sense and these will last a life time.

    I had a single strainer in the kitchen that I had had for probably 30 years. It was galvanized plain steel with a plastic handle and it was starting to rust a little. Life is too short for crappy kitchen utensils so I got these.

    These are an amazing value for all stainless name brand utensils. They are sturdy and the mesh is just the right size and the handles are long. The larger one can in fact span across my sink you I can use both hands to dump into the strainer. I find my self using these almost every day and they are a joy to use compared to my old rusty one.

    Just get them.

    Even though multiple pictures show that there is a mesh nut milk bag with this set, it does not exist.
    This is my second set of these strainers. I love that they're so cleanable. I love that they are so sturdy. I love that the mesh is fine enough to sort things as I'd like them to.
    I am frustrated by the poor quality of the weld that holds the handle onto each of these strainers. My first set of three lost all three handles over the course of the years.
    That said I like it well enough that I ordered another set.

    UPDATE (2024): Still like and appreciate these but realised they are less than ideal for thing like rinsing quinoa or small pulses and/or anything with an outer skin/husk as the small pieces get trapped where the mesh meets metal around the rim. I spend so much time trying to knock or rinse quinoa (in particular) from that tight space where the metal secures the mesh that I am now hunting around for a sieve with less of a metal lip.

    Still a good set, this has held up to almost daily use but I will only use this for powder sifting or draining larger items.

    ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’ve only used these for a couple of months but they seem durable and well made. I wanted a set of variant sizes and this set has a good range. This is the set I use for my baking so the large size is a good size for sifting (as is the medium size) and I used the medium and small primarily for dusting (sugar/cocoa) and straining (curds/custards).

    All in all, I am happy with the set thus far.
