It's a nice toothbrush but it's slightly over designed. The touch sensitive vibration intensity button is really poorly placed. Once you touch the toothbrush the button gets activated and you inadvertently change the vibration intensity. Like did it need to be a touch sensitive button with a haptic engine? Feels a little gimmicky and fussy. Lucky it does clean your teeth well and I do like the pressure indicator feature.

It not only is well-designed and sleek looking, but it has all the options: —Automatic timer (30 seconds each quadrant and 2-minute auto stop) —LED power adjustment depending upon your sensitivity —Simple brush replacement —Long battery life —Charging stand —Mirror mount —Travel case --Five color options And, did I mention that it looks and feels amazing?! Brushing with the Ultra is easy. It is well-designed to get at all the nooks and crannies. Give it a try! Your teeth will be happy you did.

I'll disappointed but I'll keep it. It brushes well, but only on the lowest setting. Otherwise you feel like your lips are going to fall off or your toothpaste will be slung across the room. It also annoyingly lights up and buzzes randomly with regular handling. Was hoping for better as a long time quip customer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this toothbrush. From the moment I opened the box, I could tell this was a high end and well thought out product. Even the unboxing felt fancy. It was sleek, modern, and came with a helpful QR code video, because let’s be honest, who actually reads instruction manuals anymore. First impression was that this toothbrush looks GOOD. The silicone cover gives it a premium feel, and I loved the seamless finish which meant no toothpaste gunk getting stuck in weird crevices. The larger brush head was also a pleasant surprise, making brushing feel more effective. My teeth felt so clean after using this, almost like I had just walked out of a professional cleaning. The pressure sensor was an eye opener because, apparently, I’ve been brushing rather aggressively for most of my life. The quadrant buzz timer is also a game changer as there will be no more mindless over brushing one side while ignoring the other. Now, for the quirks. As much as I loved the silicone cover’s aesthetic, it’s a bit of a magnet for makeup as foundation, lipstick, and even mascara somehow made their way onto it. Don’t ask me how, I have questions too. Some cleaning instructions would be nice, but my recommendation, go for a darker color if you don’t want your toothbrush attracting odd particles. The touch bar to adjust the brush intensity level looks great but it's a bit sensitive, however once you hit the start button it doesn’t change. Also, I couldn’t find a way to pause while mid brushing so I found myself awkwardly spitting out the side of my mouth or just pulling it entirely out of my mouth, which resulted in toothpaste splatter on the mirror. As for storage, I went with the upright stand vs mounting the charger somewhere. I found it sturdy, hygienic and sleek. I love that the 30 day charge life means I can take this on trips without the charger and the travel case is at least half the size of my old one. Final verdict is this toothbrush is a serious upgrade and has made brushing feel more effective and a little fancier. A few small quirks aside, I’d definitely recommend it, just maybe avoid the white color option.

It doesn't charge on the stand unless you also such the magnet to the back. I can't imagine anyone at this company actually tested this and thought that was a good idea, but they surely knew it wasn't because they conveniently avoided using and product pictures of it both on the stand and charging.

I really dislike this new version of Quip. Here's why: - The bristle head is roughly half the size of the classic Quip head that I have now. It's simply too small for typical adult teeth. - I know the new Quip says you just need to leave the brush head on the tooth and let it do its thing, but I like to do at least some scrubbing and movement manually. But when I did that, the system beeped at me and stopped brushing. It was really annoying. Why can't I move the toothbrush while the bristles are working too? - I turned the sensitivity/power down really low. . . almost to the bottom and it was still too intense! It actually tickled my lips as I moved it around in different places. I don't know how anyone could get through a 2min brushing like this.
