The New Reference Series 800 Floor Standing Speaker features the most dramatic upgrades since the series' inception, including many technologies derived from the Klipsch Reference Premiere Series. The Spun-copper thermoformed crystalline polymer woofers utilize trickle-down technology from Klipsch's highly acclaimed Reference Premiere series of speakers. The two 8-inch injection-molded graphite woofers provide deep, distortion-free bass, while the exclusive Klipsch 1-inch aluminum LTS tweeter and larger 90 x 90 square Tractrix Horn provides improved coverage, bandwidth and directivity control. Easy to setup, supports Dolby Atmos, and has amazing sound that will blow you away!
Handles up to 600W peak power (150W continuous)
For robust and controlled audio that is crisp and clear.
Two 8" spun-copper TCP Woofers
Utlizing trickle-down technology from Klipsch's Reference Premiere series, the TCP woofers have steeper angling of the cones for a smoother response and improved accuracy and transparency.
2-way speaker system
Sounds like 1 source rather than several separate sources.
MDF Cabinetnt with scratch-resistant, textured wood grain vinyl
Stylish aesthetic with absolute durability that results in a seamless integration into any décor.
Sleek, modern appearance
Hidden fasteners, edge-to-edge horn, and low-profile magnetic grilles give the speakers a polished, modern appearance.
Rear Tractrix Port
The rear Tractrix port is perfectly matched to the cabinet and woofers, creating ideal airflow with mininimal distortion or turbulence even at the lowest frequencies.
High Quality Cabinet Design
Reinforced 3/4" MDF construction with an all-new bracing design reduces cabinet vibration for less audible coloration and improved sonic accuracy.
Refined Atmos Connections
Upgrading to Dolby Atmos is extremely easy with the simple and hidden connections located on the back of the speakers. These refined connections reduce the amount of wire seen and hold them in place for better wire management.
34Hz - 21kHz frequency response
Ensures a wide range of accurately reproduced sound.
98 dB sensitivity
Ensures crisp, robust audio.
8 ohms nominal impedance
Ensures efficient conduction of power through the speaker.

Q: Questionwould this work with Sony STR-DH790? or need a more powerful av/r(3 answers)
A: AnswerThe speakers produce 97 decibels at one (1) watt. FYI, that level of loudness is very loud, enough to cause hearing loss if prolonged period time serious damage at 8 hours. 95 dB is as loud as a car without a muffler, ATV, motorcycle, or a gas powered lawnmower cycle (earplugs are necessary). You could power those speakers with a 67 W amplifier without breaking a sweat, you could power those speakers loud enough for the neighbors to call the police. - A: AnswerFrom what I could find on that model of receiver, it supplies "60 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo)". The R-800F has a power handling of 150 Watts at 8 Ohms and should be connected to a receiver/amplifier that supplies close to this. The Kenwood KR 10000ii would be better suited for the R-600F. You will get cleaner audio and less chance for distortion.

A++++
So far a few weeks in I’m finding them powerful, with bright clarity, a beautiful soundstage, and excellent bass while using Klipsch’s subwoofer also I’m using only for music and specifically bought to play audiophile 180/200 gram vinyls. I love to hear live performances and demos. These speakers are giving me exactly what I was looking for. I can hear the smallest details stand out from the saliva of Tori Amos’ mouth to the distinct seperation of instruments and clarity of drums in Tool to David Gilmour’s beautiful guitar solos hearing his fingers slide unlike any recording I’ve heard before. Classical and electronic music have taken new shape. PJ Harvey’s demo albums truly sound like I’m in the room while the magic happens. I was close to buying much more expensive speakers I was unsure on the sound and these overwhelm me in comparison and for a great price. Be sure to use a strong receiver to get the most out of what they can provide. They are also beautiful in design. Was very happy with Best Buy showing me a wide range of options and helping me pair the system together to get the best audio experience possible

A lot of power in these towers alone.
To start off, I’m running… 2 Klipsch R-50 bookshelves in rear 2 Klipsch R800 for left and right 1 Klipsch R-30C for center 2 Klipsch R/41sa for height/Atmos speakers 1 Klipsch R-120SW for subwoofer This setup was massive for me and I’m loving every minute of it. I’ll be reviewing the other pieces as well. For the towers, I have them left and right, to start off, they are massive and as heavy as they look. they have a phenomenal blend of mids and lows. I’m convinced that had I not bought the sub, these things would’ve gave me even an adequate and punchy little bass. They still wouldn’t compare to the sub itself for that but just wanted to add that that’s how great they are. They really bring the movie alive and are insanely powerful and immersive.

Best speakers for home theatre system
I thought the bookshelf speakers were good enough. Boy was I wrong. I purposely waited for these to go on sale and when they did, i jumped on them. They are definitely heavier than they look and I would recommend having an extra set of hands to help with removing from the box. Setup was a snap and once I tried that out I was blown away. I no longer need to go to the movie theater. You can have your own with these.
