A” Vintage“ Quilt with Contemporary Colors
This quilt was the perfect addition to a bedroom in our circa 1890’s Blue Ridge Mountains Cottage. You wouldn’t guess it wasn’t a vintage quilt!

Wow!!!
I love the homemade vintage farm feel to this quilt. I’ll be using this as a bedspread come the spring-summer. It’s simply a treasure. I have a homemade Star and Wedding quilt my grandmother made and this one falls in that category being hand stitched. A nice feature being numbered. I got lucky #39 which I was happy to get being both # represent something to me. Since there’s only 1 of 50 - I’m thinking there’s only a few left. Yes expensive though in range with such an exquisite piece of art. A keepsake for sure and to pass down.
