Love these! I was worried bc they were super inexpensive and some of the reviews weren’t singing their praises... but I’m so pleasantly surprised.
First off, I ordered 6. I ordered for my new obsession... my letter board and I needed somewhere to organize the letters. My board came with white letters and I bought 7 more sets of different colors and different size. These boxes worked great and I had the ability to take some of the separators out so enlarge some of the compartments. I didn’t need to do that for my letters but love having the option.
I had a couple boxes left over and offered them to my mom who has a lot of jewelry... and she’s always adding more and always trying to keep fresh ways keeping them organized. I have purchased for her a nice jewelry cabinet which is ahem.. not inexpensive... and other times like carrying cases so cute for jewelry and boxes cute cute cute for jewelry.. but rings are always hard and even earrings and to be able to SEE what you have!! She loves the boxes and says they work perfect for her purpose.
I am keeping these boxes in mind for any future items that may crop up! Highly recommend.
PS: I use my boxes daily... bc I daily change my letter board and the open/close mechanism hasn’t broken or anything. I can see where it may not be the hardiest mechanism but I’m also a person who isn't “hard” on items. If you have “rougher” gestures... perhaps it may not be sturdy enough? But I don’t even think about being gentle... and it’s held up fine for at least 3 months.
