It is small (A6) enough to fit in a purse and works great as a day journal or for daily planning. I find the monthly calendar blocks too small for planning purposes but they are handy for tracking habits, tracking health issues, or making very brief notations. It also makes a great "junk journal" for those who want the fun of using stickers or washi or gluing in small photos or graphics without the need to fill a large page. The paper is thin yet sturdy and resists bleeding from many pens. There are a variety of covers both clear and patterned available for the Techo to protect or decorate the book.
