    Ouidad is the only leave in conditioner that works for my hair without leaving it flat or frizzy. It defines but leaves my curls soft, not crunchy or overly product-ified. A little also goes a long way so it's not as expensive in the end as buying went using more of a lower quality product. It also works wonders for my 4 year old with long curls- we all know kids curl products are inferior for kids with long curly hair.

    I was really excited to try this product, but it didn’t work out for me. Here’s why:

    The smell is overpowering and smells like grandma perfume. It’s worse when it’s wet.

    I started getting headaches which slowly developed into migraines where my vision was going in and out. Among other things I missed work. I finally figured out this product was the culprit. The mouse also really bothers me and I had to stop using it.

    It dries out my hair terribly. I was trying to give it a shot… but during the couple of weeks I was using it my hair got very thirsty.

    I’m still trying to repair my hair from the damage this product caused. It hasn’t been the same since. I stopped using it a month ago. :(

    I’m trying a bunch of curly hair products trying to find the best one. This is definitely not it. I’m really confused about all of the positive reviews. :/
