I was so excited to order and get this and I have great things to say about it, great quality, very warm, kept the wind out and the color was perfect. But mine was smaller than I anticipated. The face guard was just a little too tight, I like it up around my nose while skiing but also like to pull it down when waiting in line for the lifts and it was to tight to pull it down which maybe feel claustrophobic. Also, it was not easy to get on/off my helmet (size M) due to being smaller. For example: when I want to take off my helmet I wanted to just be able to pull the hood back off the helmet, but still be able to leave the whole Sherpa on to keep my neck warm. Instead I had to leave the hood up and take off my helmet with the Sherpa still on it (not pretty). Also, because I could not just pull the hood back then it caused an issue with lifting my googles off. Because of the quality and how well it worked in the 15 degrees… I will keep it and try to wear it under my helmet instead of over my helmet the next time.

I, too, must have a head the size of a walrus. Based on negative reviews, I was slightly apprehensive ordering it . Living in a very cold and windy state (tomorrow's temp -28), I had my fingers crossed I wouldn't have to return it. But this item is awesome. It has a cinch which allows you to tighten or loosen to fit a smaller helmet (or a big head...?). I ordered it in the color pink nectar. It's a little more peach-colored than it shows on my computer. Still, a pretty color. Not being one who likes skin-tight clothing, this fits the bill. I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

I love this balaclava, but it does not fit over my helmet!

One reviewer was alarmed by the large size of this item and deemed it fit for a walrus. I think it’s the best and fits how I wanted it to fit. Does that make me a walrus? Maybe. Ha! However, I live in a very cold and windy area and walk year round. This is going to meet my needs exactly!!

I wanted a Balaclava that was comfortable, warm, and didn’t suffocate my head. I have wavy/curly hair and I didn’t want something that would totally squish my curls when I would wear this for walks outside. The hood delivers! I was worried it would be too big but actually the size is perfect for me and for my husband to borrow. Highly recommend.
