2/9/24Updated comments:So, I've been riding this bike for about an hour and a half everyday for over a week, I added a couple more pics in support of my comments.-first the water bottle holder is in a much better position, on the right front flywheel spoke. My old bike had the holder in the middle on the diagonal frame by the magnetic resistance adjuster, and this is gross but my sweat always dripped all over it.... Its may be a minor thing, but this no longer happens with my water bottle on the side holder and I don't have to hang the bottle off the handle bars where I was always hitting it with my hands as I changed position-I really like the handle bar layout on this bike. I taped on some old winter socks to rest my elbows on and my forearms easily fit the open space between between the surrounding bars (not possible with my old bike.)-I plan on attaching some exercise bands to the handle bars which are nicely designed to support this idea and will allow me to get some arm workouts in while I am riding. All in all I am still VERY happy with the bike.Let me start by saying my handle of "lifetimeworkoutguy" is no exaggeration. I am a 63 year old male who has exercised 5 to 6 times a week since my teenage years..and NO that is NOT an exaggeration and I spent the last ten years of my career working as a part time trainer. Now for my review:Back when the pandemic hit and all the gyms closed, I broke down and bought my first home exercise bike. I bought a lower end spin bike with a standard 40 lb flywheel, in the $300 to $400 range. I didn't much care to buy a better spin bike, as I figured I would be heading back to the gyms when the pandemic abated, and that is pretty much what happened. Story over right? Well not quite, as fate would have it, I developed prostate cancer like many men my age and so it was off for treatment and NO riding for 6 to 12 months. I tried to ride my spin bike soon after the treatments ended, but, it was a no go for reasons you can guess. Anyway, last August I finally got back into regular rides on my OLD low cost spin bike when the crank bearings blew out, being a handy guy, I bought new ones, replaced the old ones and started riding again, then I noticed the rear pully (belt driven) was plastic and it had cracked, probably from the bad bearings, I couldn't find a new one, the manufacturer would never reply to my pleas for help, so I got out the JB Weld and glued it up as best I could and continued riding. A couple of months after that I noticed it felt like the front bearings on the flywheel were wearing out but before I had the chance to replace those, the frame cracked by the crank......I have gotten to enjoy working out in my man cave, so I researched bikes again and decided to upgrade and buy this bike. First impressions:1.) Much sturdier than the old bike.2.) Heavier3.) Smoother right out of the box4.) Better magnetic control5.) 4-way movement on handle bars (old bike only had up and down, not forward and back, I could never get the spacing right on the old bike, this is a definite improvement for my knees...)There is no display or anything, no heart monitor, calorie or distance tracking, but I don't care as I use my smart watch for health monitoring and the timer on my iphone to track my time.I can't comment on how long this bike will last, other than to say I rode my LOW COST old bike for 1-2 hours per day and I calculated I had a total of about 1200 hours on it before the frame cracked. The bearings went sooner and the plastic pulley too. This bike feels like it will last MUCH longer, but that is just a feeling based on almost 50 years of experience. If you are looking for a good ride, good magnetic resistance control, good adjustability to fit different body sizes and a smooth ride that doesn't have all the electronic bells and whistles, I highly recommend this bike. Granted it is heavy, but I am hoping that means DURABILITY and Sunny is a well known name in the exercise industry, so if there is a problem, parts and service should not be an issue. I give this bike 5 stars on being a quality, pre electronic gadget, basic spin bike that should give you years of trouble free rides. These days, I have come to appreciate being able to ride at home in my man cave, I never thought I would say those words, since I was a real "hit the gym" kinda guy for what seems all my life.I will come back periodically and update my review as my "rides" and "hours" on this bike add up. Hopefully this bike will be able to handle my daily use for more than the 1200 hours I got out of the cheaper bike i ended up having to retire to the trash heap.Good luck and keep working out..

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid bike at a great price
Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2020
***Update July 2023: Still loving this bike. I have probably “cleaned” around the belt and wheels 2-3 times since owning it for general maintenance. I did begin to get a slight noise after about a year and put a small amount of oil in the bearings and that took care of it. I can tell that it’s getting close to needing the same treatment again.***

Original review: I’ve been taking Les Mills spin classes for ten years and began researching bikes at the beginning of the coronavirus apocalypse. I wanted a solid bike for the price without spending $2k. The amazon and YouTube reviews led me here. Because I’m used to Les Mills RPM and Sprint I was not looking for a bike with “extras” like cadence or resistance info as riding to music motivates me the most.

Straight forward assembly. Ran into a problem inserting the handlebar post into the frame because the plastic was slightly warped (see photo). But my husband helped “manhandle” it into place and it worked smoothly afterwards. Apart from that, I assembled it myself with a 3 and 5 year old “helping”. That was more stressful than anything else. I replaced the pedals with clip-in pedals I already had and they fit well.

I was concerned about my height for this bike since so many reviews state it’s not for short people. My husband is 6’4” so I consider myself short at 5’4.5” but the bike fit me great. After a couple rides I found the best fit at 6 on the seat post (1 being the shortest). I’m still tweaking but there’s plenty of room to work with. Measuring your inseam is important. Mine is about 29.5. Keep in mind, I’m using clip-in pedals so that will add very slightly to my inseam length.

I actually found the bike seat to be a little too comfortable. The very rear of the seat is a little broader than I’m used to from the gym bike but really something I can get used to.

My first pedal stroke with the resistance maxed out had me concerned that it would not be enough for me. But as I’m not used to magnetic resistance, I soon learned . . . it’s deceiving. After my first ride, I realized I did not need it even close to maxed out to get an effective workout. The bike is super quiet with the magnetic resistance and belt drive. It has a very stable frame for hill climbing. I can see the frame move in my mirror but I can’t feel it.

It seems that the biggest problem reviewers have is with shipping. As long as your bike arrives well packaged this is a great bike for an effective workout. I’ve only had the bike for 5 days so far but I’ve ridden it everyday for 30-45 minutes with no issues.

PRECIO
