This dress was cute. Unfortunately I did return it as it ran quite big. I normally wear a XL, which is what I ordered but it was way too loose. The top portion of the dress was very large on me, the waist band didn’t even come close to touching me and it hung off of my rib cage. However the dress was really cute. It was lighter weight fabric than expected. It is not a sweater dress but the woven pattern on the fabric gives it that look. The color was just like in the photos. I would order this again but in a different size.

I went down one size from my usual large and the medium was a perfect fit. Knit dresses like this typically do provide more roominess. I was so happy that I could wear it right out of the package with no de-wrinkling needed. This tells me it will be easy care. It was very comfortable, modest enough I can wear it anywhere and not have to worry about peaking underwear. The fabric is fairly thick. No slip necessary.

This is not a fitted garment and that's exactly what I want at my age (71) but it doesn't feel like a frumpy old person dress. I have always loved sweater dresses and this one fits the bill. I am 5' tall and 145 # and the dress hits just a little below my knee, just as I hoped since midi dresses tend to fit me like a maxi dress. A taller person might find it comes closer to the knee. I am very happy with this purchase.
