    I adore everything about this raincoat - it is super light, material feels good and is waterPROOF, has great pockets, beautiful color of cornflower blue. Everything would be absolutely perfect but for the size (not the raincoat’s fault)! Amazon had recommended extra extra large “based on previous purchases”. Well, the arms hang down about five inches from my fingertips and you can only squeeze the Velcro so far…. The bulk and length of the jacket also are large, but do-able. Since it was a relatively long delivery time for Amazon, the coat didn’t arrive until three days before I leave for a three-week trip to a place where it reportedly rains every day. No time to send back and receive smaller size - so I’ll just have to roll the sleeves up on this otherwise beautiful coat.

    I like the Columbia brand jackets, in fact one that was my favorite was stolen at church! I wanted a white windbreaker to wear in the spring/summer while walking, and light weight enough to take on trips. This suits my purpose and expectations. To me it runs a little small, so I'm glad I sized up to a medium which was fine. Concerning lack of lining and making you sweat, I wrote this review after wearing it for an afternoon of walking and errands. I may have been a little more damp under the arms, but no where near sticking to my arms and being totally soaked. Go by your own physical constitution; if you tend to get over heated quickly and sweat easily, this jacket may not be the choice for you. I like very much that it has inside pockets on both sides where you can put valuables and not have to carry a purse.

    Ordered on March 22 and received today April 4, 2021 (Easter Sunday, though I am not a Prime member).
    Size: Large. Color: Dark Nocturnal (the cheapest). I paid only $24.98 for it but the label attached to the one I received reads: $60.00, and I can't imagine who would pay $60 for this jacket, even with the name "Columbia" on it.

    I tried it on today, wearing a woolen pullover over a cotton mock-turtleneck, with a cotton undershirt (the weather gets warmer in the afternoon, but it is not summer yet (and I have 'age-related' rheumatism). I assume the jacket will fit right when I wear it over only a T-shirt; if not, it gets donated.

    If you plan to buy one, first decide whether you want it for spring or for summer. [Additional information: I am 5'3", and my current weight is 148 lbs; I wear jeans size 14 in winter and size 12 in summer. Tops: size Medium, i.e. size 10 or 12 at the shoulders for a woven shirt (as opposed to knits). -- I hope this helps you.]

    Note also that the jacket has an attached hood (which I plan to cut off neatly unless, of course, I donate it.)

    I took off my woolen sweater and tried the jacket again: it fits at the shoulders, and the sleeves are right. However, it is far too tight at the hips; even after taking off my size-14 jeans, I had trouble closing the zipper (and I do not intend to go out in my underwear). My best bet: check local stores where I can try clothes on before buying them; this jacket, I am sure, will delight whomever buys it from the Purple Heart store, as long as she is really skinny.
