This thing is absolutely awesome. Puts out so much heat for a tiny heater. I mainly use it in the garage during the winter when I have wood working projects. Not only does it take the little 1lbs propane canisters, it can also take a larger propane tank if you purchase an adapter and hose for it. When I'm working on a project in the garage, I use my 20lbs propane cylinder. If i'm outside (or go camping), I love the convenience of popping in a 1lbs canister and carrying it with me everywhere.

Awesome heater!

I wanted to extend my outdoor space due to COVID and decided to convert a canopy pop up tent into an area I can enjoy my hammock even during cold rainy weather in the PNW while also keeping my plants from freezing. I added transparent side walls to get a greenhouse effect and use this portable heater while Im out enjoying my hammock. This thing fired right up and I keep it on low so it lasted a few hours on one small tank. LOVE this thing for my needs. Not sure how it would do in temps below well below freezing but it worked well with our 30 degree outside temps and kept my semi enclosed outdoor space nice and warm while I tended to my plants and relaxed on my hammock.

Great for extending outdoor space during COVID

This is a great heater, I bring it everywhere, carries like a purse. Recently used it for an outdoor concert and 8 of us ladies were toasty the entire event, place two of them under our table and heat was amazing. We dressed warmly, but wouldn't have been comfortable at all in Chicago cold without the heaters on. It takes seconds to operate, lightweight and  a cylinder last at least 4 plus hours on high. Also used one for a G.S. Christmas Hot Chocolate event and girls were plenty warm in the cold.  Great for hanging outside watching your kids play their sports.  Walmart has the absolute best price around, believe me I shopped everywhere. Very quick, free delivery and well packaged.  Highly recommend this heater I am purchasing a third one.

Awesome little heater, very efficient and portable

Works very well. It heats really good even on low. I think this is perfect for emergencies or for when you would like to stay warm outdoors or inside. It took away the draft from our living, dining, kitchen area (one large open space). I purchased this so we will not have another moment like the "Freeze" we had in February 2021 in Texas.

Mr Heater Buddy

Its a great heater I full-time Rv on the east coast and thus far this litte heater has been the sole heat source in my 30ft class C. I turn it off at night for safety and when using for the first time use sudsy water to make sure there is no leak in the connection.

Great little heater.

This little Buddy heater is the best! Its not real big but puts off so much heat. You can feel it blowing out hot air. This is absolutely a must have for the cold temperatures. we use it in our tent when camping in cold weather and we stay snuggly warm.

Its the best

We're spending a lot of time in a 5th wheel TT or a hunting cabin. We use this heater to help heat the living areas and not waste heat with the central system. If the electric grid fails us we have emergency heat keeping us warm. Follow all safety instructions.

Back up for extra cold days

Got a little Electric heater and put it to my power watt to see what it would cost 80 bucks a month for about 6 hours or less heat a day and it would take forever to heat the bedroom. This Monster heats the room in 10 min and the fact that I can fill the little tanks up myself works out to about 80 cents a refill. The room gets hot so I can turn it off and save .I’m gonna get me some more just for emergencies and to maybe let friends use durning a Power outage. At $79 bucks I don’t see how anyone could complain.

The Mr. Buddy is an established brand for great quality propane heater with safety tilt cut-off feature to prevent accidental fires…
Shipping was fast and the heater arrived a day before we were going camping which was great, but problem was they didn't bother to mention on the web page that you would need to purchase a small propane tank that directly attaches to the waiting port, or in my case purchase a Mr. Buddy filter and a specific hose to connect from the filter to my propane tank.
So I had to scramble the next morning before we left for our camping and run to a local Ace Hardware store for assistance and ended up spending more, compared to if i had ordered those accessories at the same time i purchased the freakin heater since I may have also gotten the shipping for free with my Black Friday deals orders.

For first timers, beware and buy the accessories..

Arrived quickly and exterior packaging didn’t look opened, but interior packaging (original box) looked a little rough. Once opened, unit looks used. Scruffs, scratches, and white residue on sides, front, and bottom. Disappointed.
