Perfect Long Distance Running Shorts

I have 5 pairs of these shorts in my rotation, and I'm such a huge fan. They stay put on my legs. I have had minimal chafing / rubbing issues on long runs. The pockets are amazing for carrying gels, etc. Also means a lot to me that Janji supports all kinds of runners (huge fan of Cal Calamia). I did notice that the little silicone grippers tend to come off after a few months of use, but doesn't seem to affect how well the shorts stay put.

These shorts are well made, fit perfectly, and are gorgeous in person! The pockets fit a ton of fuel and a phone without bouncing or other discomfort. I plan to slowly phase out all of my other shorts and replace them with new pairs of these!

Just bought my 4th pair!

I truly love these shorts! I am now on my 4th pair of the 7” shorts. The fit is perfect and the deep pockets hold everything without my phone or other items bouncing around or falling out. I like that these sit a bit lower than the “ultra high rise” styles that seem to be everywhere else. These are shorts and I’m wearing them for running in the summer, so a higher waistband is way too hot. I also love the colors and patterns, and l look forward to the announcements about upcoming versions. Perfect fit, perfect colors/patterns, perfect cause. Great job Janji!

Amazing shorts

I own 10+ pairs of these (across 3 different style iterations). They’re amazing! Skin-like with deep pockets and a good grip. The 2024 iteration seems a bit tighter in the waistband. My regular size still fits, but just a note.

Best running shorts of all time

I have tried so many shorts, thought I liked them, but have always had to pull them up or down to stay in place. This is the only pair of shorts I’ve found that stays in place for every run- even a marathon! They’re long enough to prevent chafing, tight enough to stay in place, and great high rise without digging in to my sides. The perfect shorts.

Comfy running with great pockets

I already have a few pair of these, so could not resist the sale pricing to get another pair. I use these Janji shorts for short to medium length runs, so far up to about half-marathon distance. I will try them for longer distances as I train for my ultra. I have not tried them for longer distances. The legs stay in place, they don't bind, and I don't have to pull them out of my nether regions. I do use body lubricant (Glide) for anything over 10 miles, but have felt no need to do so for the shorter runs. I'm not sure I need to lube for the longer runs, but why take the chance?
