I've been having problems with my nails peeling and cracking for a couple of years now. What had been working for me (Zeva crystal file) suddenly was not enough. I also amped up application of moisturizer. I needed to add something to my repertoire. I tried many clear polishes with various strengthening ingredients. I had read that these can make the problem worse, but in my case, it seems they did nothing. Then I came across Dr. Dana Nail Repair for Damaged Nails. It's a bit pricey for what you get (two applicators of different sera) and a special file with three functions. But after using it weekly, I noticed a difference! No more peeling. But more important, that nail that was split at the tip for almost a year had almost no split at all! I'm convinced! I subscribed and will continue using this fabulous product!
Pros:

- the file is fantastic!
- works after regular use (for a couple of weeks) and no more peeling or splitting!
Cons:
- it's kind of pricey, but I spent more total on options that didn't work, so this seems like a minor con
- the packaging includes a lot of cardboard (the set arrives in what looks like an old VHS case)
But definitely worth it!
