I love this cleanser! It is definitely worth the investment. It literally melts your make up off at the end of the day - no more scrubbing or gross make up wipes! Licensed Medical Aesthetician and RN here. I’m a little bit natural and a little bit “bring on the Botox” when it comes to skin care. Basically I want products that not only touch on all my senses, but do their job well. I’m typically minimal with my skin care routine, opting for water or olive oil to cleanse my skin, but I was intrigued by this cleansing balm when I first saw it.

The oils didn’t intimidate me because I have used them regularly on my face for the last decade or more. What completely surprised me (besides the delightful scent and ability to remove my mascara effortlessly) came as I wiped the product off my face with warm water and the provided cloth — it left my skin feeling soft, but not the tiniest bit greasy or oily at all. I wasn’t prepared for that, but I didn’t hate it! :)

I’m not expecting any benefit from the collagen because if you are a science nerd like myself or have studied aesthetics you know that the molecules are too large to be absorbed by the skin... unless they are broken down first. However, the ingredients in this product are very beneficial for the overall skin health. Thumbs up to that!

When I try new products I typically give myself at least a few months of using them regularly to decide whether I love them or not. It’s only been a couple of days using this, so I have a little while before I can give my official personal review, but so far it’s off to a very good start.

I love this cleanser, it’s so smooth and moisturizing and melts your makeup off. It has kind of a medicinal smell that I normally wouldn’t like but I like it in this product. I only give 4 stars because it’s expensive for a small amount of product. I have repurchased though. The small jar is a great travel size.
